Stila Lush Lips Water Plumping Primer

Okay so as I do for almost everything I buy from amazon, I read the reviews first & let me tell you, they were wrong. First off, I love everything stila. I use there Huge mascara (and get compliments daily on my eyelashes), I have about 7 stay all day liquid lipsticks from them (and let me tell you, they do stay all day!), and I use a concealer and foundation from them. That being said, I have never used a plumper before; however, this little guy not only makes my lips soft and smooth, it's also doing its plumping job. My boyfriend has already noticed a difference in my lips and I had a coworker ask me if I got injections. Nope, just this. So, obviously I thoroughly recommend this product. Also, to all those who complained about the color - stop caking it on and it won't wash out whatever color you put on top. And those of you who said you could barely see a color, it's not a lipstick so like what are you tryin to achieve there?? Hope y'all find this helpful & if you do decide to buy this product, you'll sincerely enjoy it as I have. If not, your loss.

It DOES NOT plump the lip. But it primes & moisturizes my lip very well. I have patchy & parched coffee addict lips so I'm surprised how well it's working on me. Feels luxurious on my lips too. Love it even without plumping. A bit too expensive for my liking though.

It doesn't exactly primer or plump. Its very moisturizing. Pretty much did nothing. Didn't moisturize, but didn't dry out. Did not "neutralize" my natural lip color so the lipstick color was true. Did not make my lipstick stay longer. Looking for a replacement for my Benefit Lip Plump (which didn't plump my lips, but was an AWESOME lip primer, the lipstick stay almost all day!) so if anyone has a suggestion, I'd love to hear it!

This actually gave the lipstick less staying power!

do i really need a lip primer too?? after reading about this product on some beauty sites, i decided to give it a try. putting on lipstick now is the favorite part of my morning makeup routine! it definitely makes a great base for lipstick - the color stays put and stays true. so the answer is yes, i have added this Stila lip primer into my makeup lineup. i love it!

This primer is amazing. I literally used this under $0.99 lipstick and it stayed on all night. I did not have to reapply once! I also wrote it through eating and drinking and it still kept it on when normally I would have had to reapply several times.However I did not notice any plumping but that doesn't bother me.

I think it works to help keep the lip colour on after.
