I liked the quality of material. Excellent fit, good grip, light weight. Great value. Used for rowing the erg, dragonboat paddling and the weight room.

These gloves worked well for a kayaking trip that that I was on recently. The kept my hands warm, the parts that were covered, and the padding was perfect. I don't remember feeling any discomfort at all while I had them on. They fit well and the grip was good too. I haven't washed them yet, so I'm unsure how they will hold up after doing so.

you can pay a lot of money for gloves - for this price - these are the answer- bought several different kinds - i could not find much better for more money.

I row indoors 3x per week and I bought them to try out for myself. These gloves are probably best for canoers, kayakers, water skiers and gripping tools where you need a hard grip that doesn't slip. Serious indoor rowers should look elsewhere - contrary to what's depicted in the product description and pic. As mentioned in other review(s), the grip on an ERG (indoor rowing machine) handle is like that of an umbrella handle. Even when used in this manner you'll quickly develop sizable callouses within a week or two. Leather padded indoor gym gloves would be recommended for the indoor rower.

I use these indoors on my Concept2 RowErg, someone in a rowing forum recommended them and I can second that recommendation. They are not hot, nor heavy, and the grip on the handle is superb.My hands are large and finding gloves of any type that fit any type is a gamble, but these in XL fit perfectly and seem to fit better all the time. Order your regular size and you should be fine.For on-water rowing, these would perform even better since the grip is excellent (they're made by 'Hornet Watersports' after all).I can't speak to their longevity (yet), but for indoor rowing I expect them to last a very long time.Highly recommended.

I've been using these to row and during my push ups on concrete and they're wonderful. They sometimes smell because of the sweat and I've been able to wash them in the sink with detergent and they've still going strong.

I bought these gloves for sculling and sweep rowing (outdoor rowing on the water.) The fingers of these gloves don't quite reach the first (the MP) joint of my fingers so I don't expect that they would protect my fingers from blisters near the joints. It appeared that the gloves may not be returnable after the tags are cut off so I didn't want to wear them on the water and just returned them.But they were comfortable so it you get blisters on your palm rather than your fingers, they may work for you.

These gloves help to protect your hands from getting calluses if you do a lot of rowing. Your hands can get a little sweaty inside of them, but they do the job at protecting, which is why I got them.
