Not what I was expecting...
For $34 dollars these are tiny! I will unfortunately be returning, I wish they were bigger as they are a beautiful oil rubbed bronze and the aesthetic I was looking for, but I had thought the measurements were for the wheels themselves, not the entire unit. I was hoping these would also raise the item up that I was hoping to put these on, but these will not provide that.

These are nice heavy brass casters and with a little work are a relatively inexpensive option for classing up your furniture. The reason for the 3 stars is that when I first received these casters they were frozen solid. I'm guessing that they are dipped in finish and allowed to dry. This obviously makes for a nice paperweight but not a great wheel. My solution to this was soaking them in boiling water for a minute or two, then carefully, they will be hot, taking them out and cleaning as much finish off of them and spinning all the moving parts. I followed this up with a coat of oil and a wipe down. As they are brass and have an aged look already, removing the finish will not adversely effect this product and in the long run might actually make them even better as they age.

Works well, looks great
These work very well and look great. I put on a small desk and it rolls across the room with a gentle push.

Great quality for the price
I've been shopping around for small casters. Similar styles can run to $20 apiece from the restoration and refinishing retailers. I just received this 4-pack of antiqued brushed brass casters, and I'm very pleased. They are heavy, the rolling action is smooth, the finish isn't cheesy-looking, and they are silent. The box is marked "made in India," and the card included in the box directed me to the seller's website, where they sell a broad selection of hardware. I think it's a small family-run factory in India. Much nicer casters than the Chinese ones I bought last week.Highly recommend.

Great wheels for a dining table I was refinishing
Great wheels for a dining table I was refinishing. It has the large center pedestal and what looks like large snake head feet. These worked perfectly on the feet. Seem to be very sturdy/supportive and rolls smoothly when I need to move it.

Difficult
These were not easy to install at all. They don't separate so you can screw them in first with a drill or screw driver and the wheels are in the way so it's hard to screw them in by hand. After getting one in they way they curve once you put weight on them they will come right out because they are vey small and the angle doesn't hold a chair that is a little heavy like a desk chair. I could not use them and it was a waste of money.

Drill size not recommended by manufacturer.
Looks like a well made, solid product. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to install them yet. No instructions were included with a recommended drill size. It looks to be between ¼ and 5/16. Either 9/32 or 17/64, neither common drill sizes. I have to go buy a large new set and then try drilling in a similar hardwood before I ruin more of me table legs trying the wrong size drill.

LOVE THESE!
I ordered these for a table my great great grandpa made by hand. They are beautiful, and heavy duty. The table already had holes for casters, so I just placed the table on top of these caster wheels. They look so good!! These are everything I'd hoped for! They are not screwed into the table legs, but there is no intention of moving this table. So I cannot make note for install. However, if you have proper tools, I don't see how it would be hard. This table is solid walnut, and these casters hold it's weight perfectly fine.

Artisan product
These castors were for an Indian-made wood traditional table, which also had some lattice ironwork. These castors are a perfect match as they 'fit' the style of the table very well. They also work as castors, too!

Nice Little Hand-made Casters
These little casters are a nice replacement for the original seized-up porcelain and iron casters on the legs of an antique loveseat and ladies chair I recently had re-upholstered. These casters have very slight variations in the hand finish which adds to their hand-made authenticity. They are well-matched, nicely designed and crafted, however the quality control is a little lax. One of the eight does not swivel well. I tried to lubricate it but lubrication did not resolve the problem. I suspect the problem is a slightly bent shaft at the swivel. They are really quite expensive so I expected they would work flawlessly. Considering they were shipped from India, they were delivered in a timely manner.
