Premium Products Make a difference
Cooks products are very premium. I order from Amazon because store markups in Williams Sonoma and high end grocery stores is just too much. Made a great ice cream flavoring

Great Flavor and Cost Effective
This is a very tasty root beer extract, perfect for making your own soda, or dessert. There's a slight bite to it, but no nasty, overpowering liquorice flavor to it. I'm a fan and have become a repeat customer.

Delicious
It’s high quality, strong cinnamon flavoring. Just wish it weren’t so expensive. But then it saves me from spending for a Starbucks cinnamon latte, and tastes every bit as good.

EDIBLE!
This is the real stuff. Edible - for cooking. But I suppose it could be used as an essential oil too.Commercially made spiced apple rings seem to be a ghost of holiday past. But there are some recipes on the internet. I recently decided to take the plunge and try to make my own. It turned out great. But there's one caveat. Those recipes that call for "red hots" or "cinnamon Imperials" candy seem to give better results than the recipe calling for straight cinnamon sticks or powdered cinnamon.. But those candies have absolutely zero cinnamon in them. None whatsoever. And that bothered me.There are recipes to make those candies using cinnamon extract like this product. I wanted to make a hybrid cinnamon spiced apple rings using this extract instead of the candy. It worked great. I managed to use a bit less sugar than called for, and what I considered a generous amount of this extract. Which is still a pretty small amount. The results tasted just like the original recipe calling for the candy. So now I have a local holiday tradition resurrected from the grave. And in a much more natural way thanks to this cinnamon extract. My hybrid spiced apple rings lack the color, but a drop or three of red dye would change that. I opted not to, and the whole family was perfectly happy with that decision. Modern times, I suppose.11/10 I highly recommend cooking with this extract. After many dozen reviews, this is the very first time I've ever given an 11/10.

PROBLEM WITH THE GLASS BOTTLE
I love this product. I add a tablespoon to about 8 oz of Greek Plain Yogurt for a no-cal flavoring. I usually order the 32 ounce bottle because the price is so attractive, BUT, there's a problem with the packaging. It comes in a glass bottle. FIRST problem is that it's breakable. I got one order with the bottle smashed in transit. (I received a full refund from Amazon) SECOND problem, when the bottle is just opened, it's impossible to pour a small amount and lots of the extract dribbles down the side of the bottle. This continues until you've used about a quarter of the bottle. An awful lot is wasted, and it costs more than a buck an ounce.
