Flora Coloring Book (Maria Trolle)

I bought this beautiful coloring book from a seller called bellwetherbooks for a discounted price, since it was previously owned. I purchased it for $4.83 plus $3.98 for shipping & handling, for a total of $8.81. With this book being listed on Amazon for $13.49 brand new, I saved $4.68, so I was happy about that, but still a little leary about buying a used copy from a seller that I wasn't familiar with, etc. Even though it said it was in good condition, you never know. But, I received it yesterday, much earlier than I expected, might I add, and I'm glad I made the purchase, because the book is in perfect condition, pretty much the same condition as it would be if I'd bought it brand new! The only thing that I noticed is a little scuff mark on the spine, which is barely noticeable, and I believe that could've happened easily if I'd bought a new copy, during shipping & handling. No marks on any of the pages as far as I've seen, no bent or crumpled pages. And, as I mentioned earlier, I received it early...I ordered it on September 13th, 2020, it said that I should expect to receive it between September 23rd-September 30th, and I received it on September 18th...so I was really pleased about that. And the book is just adorable, Maria Trolle is such a great artist, and the images in this book are just beautiful, and so cute! There are quite a few pictures to color, more than most coloring books, and some of the pictures are even printed on black paper, which changes things up a bit and makes it fun. They are printed on heavy, quality paper. The book is hardcover, which is also a plus. There's even a "Plant Register" in the back of the book, which lists all of the plants on each page - what page it's on, and the scientific name of each plant, as well as a "Birds, Insects, and Amphibians Register" that does the same! The last page in the book has a page where you can test your medium out, which I also love. The only thing that I would say might get on some people's nerves, although I don't mind it, is that the pages are double-sided, so those of you that like to use markers, etc., would have to pick a side of the page that would get bleed-through. But I don't mind that, I'm going to be using colored pencils anyway. And, the pages are not perforated, some people may not like that either. I'm going to leave all my pages in the book anyway, but it's really easy to take an x-acto knife and cut them out if desired. All in all, I'm completely satisfied with my purchase, with the seller that I purchased it from, and would highly recommend both!!!!!

Now this is not only a beautiful book, but the PAPER is strong and of great quality.

I love Maria Trolle’s books. I think I have every one of them. She has a very unique style & I love that she gives reference pages at the end of the latest books. It makes it so much easier to identify & google anything I’m unsure of. She’s drawn more fairie houses for this book which I love & she’s definitely developed some of the characters that have appeared in previous books. There are more human types & creatures in this book than there where in the previous ones. She expands & grows as an artist right in front of us. I love this & all of her books. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who likes flowers, fairies, creatures & whimsy. It’s a wonderful book.

Love, love, love these books!!! So much fun and the perfect amount of detail, great quality paper...The only thing I would change is the fact that both sides of the page have illustrations on them. I wish there was one picture per page. Otherwise, these are the perfect adult coloring books and have quickly become one of my favorite brands. Highly recommend. Happy coloring!!!!!!

Lovely Maria troll color book beautiful paper and designs. I love that they're hard back and that I always know what to expect when I get one.

I see all the complaints about the condition of the book. Mine is not perfect which is disappointing - i have a few of the marks on the cover but that's the publisher's fault and you can exchange it. Other than that I love the book and the pics!! So adorable. I am very happy with this purchase. I have all of maria's books, i am a huge fan.
