Review: Beautiful, well constructed stools. - These are beautiful stools, they are very heavy. I am an 87 years old woman and put them together by myself, they are easy to assemble. Make sure you follow directions and don’t tighten screws for the legs when putting the foot rest on because I made that mistake with the first chair & had to go back & loosen them. I am thinking about ordering the chairs in the dark color to go with my dining room set. You can’t go wrong with these stools. They weren’t as high as I expected but once I sat on one, with the padded seat, they ended up being perfect!.
Review: Would Buy Again - Attractive. Well made. Reasonably easy to assemble. Everything aligned properly. My only notes are that using a 3/8" ratchet wrench with a 4 mm Allen/Hex socket head - or a 4mm Allen/Hex head screwdriver will make assembly go MUCH faster. The manufacturer does include a 4 mm Allen/Hex key but using it is tedious and time consuming. Better than nothing of course. There are six self-tapping screws that work well but need a little elbow grease to completely drive them home. One subjective note: Our counter top is at 36". The seat height of these chairs is 24". This is within the "recommended" bar/kitchen counter chair height dimensions I found. But after sitting at the counter, 2" more inches in height would be better.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks great, well-made, hard to assemble

Wow! I have an existing table & 2 chairs that I bought six years ago and I was looking for 2 additional chairs. The color is very true to life; they match the existing table PERFECTLY. They are real wood and sturdy. The padded seating feels nice. However, it was a challenge to assemble, due in no small part to the instructions not having words on them! Left and right leg pieces don't really help when you don't know if they mean left while standing behind the back of the chair, or left when standing in front of the chair looking at the seat. Thank goodness I had the existing two chairs which still had their stickers on - otherwise, I might have taken 4 hours to complete the project. As it was, it took about 1.5 - 2 hours (with clean-up). I like the challenge of putting together furniture but man, was it a challenge. :| However, great results - I would definitely recommend these to someone, as long as you or someone you know is up for assembling it!
