My search is over!
I've been on a long search for a hot sauce that was super hot AND flavorful...I absolutely found it in Matouk's! I love this stuff! The only negative I can think of is all of their sauces taste similar so when I re-buy I will most likely not buy the 4 pack and will just go with the Flambeau and the Salsa Picante alone. The Flambeau (the hottest) for when I want to burn my face off and the Salsa Picante (the somewhat milder) for when I just want a good burn and good flavor! These are all great sauces though. I love hot stuff but this stuff is pretty intense. Someone who has a higher tolerance for heat than I do may be able to taste the differences in the sauces, but for me, I'm good with just the two I think. Who knows, as I adapt I may lean a different direction. I was worried I was going to open a package of broken glass after reading some of the reveiws here but everything was wrapped and packed well and arrived intact. Great product, I will definitely buy again!

Hot!
I first tried Matouk indian hot sauce when I was traveling in the Caribbean, and I put the hot sauce on all types of food - breakfast burrito, rice and beans, grilled fish. I once used 1/3 of the bottle on my lunch, and ended up with a bad stomach pain followed by diarrhea the next morning. So I would say - use moderately. I tried all four bottles and my favorite is the CALYPSO - it is not just hot, but also has an interesting citrus taste, which makes it goes well with any grilled fish and rice, quesadilla, and burrito. The FLAMBEAU is the hottest of them all without much the citrus taste, and the burning sensation kicks in fast. The SALSA PICANTE is the mildest of all four, and has more of a fruity taste - my second favorite. As for packaging, all four bottles came well packed in bubble wraps, plus air cushions in the box. All arrived unscathed.

Great hot sauce
Originally had this at a restaurant on Tortola in the BVIs. I asked what it was and they told me this stuff. That was 6 years ago and we always have a bottle on hand now. Everyone that tries it asks what it is. It's spicy but a good not too sweet spicy. Great on eggs! Glad Amazon has it as it's not too easy to find in the states.

Like being in Trinidad
This is good IF you have a taste for carribean hot sauces. It is unapologetically like that sold in the islands, and if you are not used to very hot foods, you won't like it. Indeed, you will wonder how anyone could eat it. If you have lived there for a time, it is a breath of fresh air, unlike the watered-down products often sold in the US as typical of carribean foods.Dear Lord! Do I love it!

Matouk's is my favorite hot sauce
Matouk's is my favorite hot sauce. All the flavors (though, I think the Hot Pepper sauce is best) This is not a like a Latin American style hot sauce, it's slightly chunky and full of scotch bonnet heat. Delightful on everything but on eggs and Jamaican beef patties can't be beat.

Flavorful Heat
Matouk's West Indian Hot Sauce (mild) is a perfect condiment with any type of food, especially grilled meat. It has a nice flavor and packs some heat, so don't go crazy loading up on your food, or else you'll be chugging milk to cool off.

MATOCK'S ...now available without going through customs.
The best Hot sauce, not just a fiery burn like most, but with a hint of sweetness from the tropical fruits papaya and mango while enjoying the best of the peppers. Sensational with meats, chicken, fish also stews and soups.
