Not sure if that is a defect in my cable only or if all are like that.
Bought this as a replacement for my Magellan GPS. Cable doesn't quite "click" into place in the GPS, so sometimes there is a power loss. Not sure if that is a defect in my cable only or if all are like that.

Cord is too short but does the job very well!

Another instance of "it looks right so it must be the one!"
Looks good, unfortunately it does not fit the charger port of the Magellan 1700 LM GPS unit.

Do not buy for a Magellan Roadmate 1700
The car charger plugin hole is too large and it falls out of the Magellan Roadmate 1700. I tried taping it to the Roadmate or holding it while driving and neither worked. I bought the Magellan 5310 AC adaptor and plug it into a power inverter PowerLine PowerCup 200/400 Watt Mobile Inverter with USB Power Port 90309 in my car in order to charge my Magellan Roadmate 1700 while in the vehicle. When I compared the plug on the Car Charger Adapter Power Cable Cord to the plug on the AC Adaptor the hole for this Car Adapter Charger is larger than the AC Adaptor plug hole. Do not purchase this product for the Magellan Roadmate 1700. It will charge but only if you hold the plug into the Roadmate and that is not possible while driving.

Works great
The charger arrived on time and in great condition. It works perfectly. I've had problems with aftermarket chargers in the past, but this one has not disappointed in the least.

Only works now and then.
I purchased this shortly before I took my car on a 1200 mile round trip. This charger only works intermittently. It is very dangerous to be driving and every mile or so it stops working. Trying to push the cord in more firmly, tapping the screen, turning the GPS on and off; all to get the cord to deliver power to the GPS unit contributes to distracted driving. And we know where that can lead. I subsequently purchased a Magellan power cord (twice the price buy happy to pay for something that works) and now my GPS works fine. I wasted my money on this unit from ChargerCity.. ..
