This is one of the best investments you could make
This is one of the best investments you could make. All engines shed metal during there lifetime and Not everything gets trapped in the oil filter. The Gold Plug magnet is very strong and will catch everything the filter misses. They have the best customer service if you leave a message they will call you back and help you chose the correct drain plug. I buy a new one every time I buy a new car or motorcycle. Even my Honda PCX Scooter has a Gold Plug.

Sheared at 20 ft.lbs.
Mine sheared while tightening and proved to be an absolute pain to extract from the oil pan. I set my torque wrench to 20 ft.lbs when tightening the factory drain plug which was the setting I used for the drain plug. I was not a happy when I heard this plug snap and go slack.

Don’t get why this has bad reviews. Looks great easy to install f150 5.0 7.7 quarts m1 motorcraft fl500 filter.Very nice 15 mm socket fits perfect too.For sure better than oem.
