I read every single review and still couldn’t decide what size to get because it was all over the board. I’m just adding to that chaos, but I’m typically a true medium in all tops, sweaters, etc. I do tend to size up to a large for jackets for the sole purpose of layering. I love wearing thick sweaters and tops so I like extra room in my jacket without looking too oversized. I’m about 5’4” and 180lbs if that helps. I ordered the 1X based on other reviews, which is a size up for an XL. I honestly should have gone with a L or XL because 1. I don’t usually zip up my leather jackets so I don’t care how it fits around my hips/waist 2. The shoulders are my biggest concern because I have broad man shoulders and this jacket in the 1X was just too big for that area and 3. The style I got was slightly different from everyone else based on the pictures so my style jacket could have ran bigger. But it’s weird because it only ran bigger in the shoulders and arms but fit right everywhere else. I’m going to exchange this for another size but just thought I’d share my opinion and provide some pictures. I will say the burgundy is gorgeous! It’s like a nice wine color with some brown tones which is exactly what I’ve been looking for.Update!!!! I ordered down to an XL and it fits MUCH better. I can’t exactly zip it up all the way but as I mentioned before that’s fine with me. I usually keep all my jackets open except for my heavy duty winter coat. It fits perfect with and without bulky sweaters. So if you’re like me and get this style jacket and prefer a slightly bigger fit for layering, go up one to two sizes. If you’re in between sizes, go with two sizes up.
