5 Original Albums

As a general listener of classic and hard rock, I really enjoy these albums. Something for all moods.

I consider The Crusaders one of the greatest bands to ever exist. The perfect blend of jazz and funk, super melodic on the top, while super funky on the bottom. Jazz fusion at its finest. Nobody did it better than The Crusaders! I never get tired of listening to their best stuff, extremely intricate and complex while somehow never losing the catchiness. You can listen to it on the surface and feel very peaceful and happy or you can listen deeper to any instrument and hear complete mastery and virtuosity. Again, perfect music, that's the only way I can describe it. Some tunes are mellow, some are as funky as anything you've ever heard, some parts are straight ahead jazz, some parts are as ripping as any rock and roll ever made. Nobody did it like these guys, nobody sounds like these guys, these songs will stick in your head for days and you will be very happy they do. And since they have so much complexity they don't get old. Ever. I have 4 of these 5 cd's on vinyl and am so happy to have them now on cd! The mastering is perfect on these cd's, sounds exactly like the original vinyl albums, which sometimes does not happen. This 5 cd set is pure gold! Not a bad song in the bunch. The Crusaders at their best! Each cd is worth 20 bucks, but you get them all for that! Couldn't be happier with this purchase, and have already listened to all of them multiple times since getting this a few weeks ago! Can't believe I even found this!

Super group from the old days. Still sound great

I have been a fan of The Crusaders since the early seventies and had a couple of their LP's. This is indeed a great purchase and great deal. I never tire listening to them. Great collection of wonderful music.

I was worried about the quality because of the low price for 5 discs but the discs sound really good. If your a fan of the Crusaders, these discs would be a good addition to your collection.

Je ne vais pas présenter ce groupe qui a inventé pas mal d'arrangements toujours utilisés dans les groupes de jazz.Vu le prix auquel ce coffret était proposé, un peu plus de 20 euros, aucune hésitation pour avoir cet ensembles d'album qui ont marqué leur temps.
