EspreeTea Tree & Aloe Medicated Shampoo, 1 Gallon

I love products with tea tree oil in them. I worked in kennels for 10+ years when I was in college / grad school, and whenever I was taking care of a dog with rashy / dry / flaky / irritated / scabbed-up skin, I always got some tea tree oil on that baby ASAP. As a result, when my husband and I moved to the beach 4 years back and our Scottie immediately began having terrible allergy-skin breakouts (which apparently is not at all uncommon), I knew I wanted a tea tree oil product to help calm down his skin. The first time I ever used this on him, the poor thing had patches of skin around his tail that looked like lizard scales. I knew from past experience that, although tea tree oil is really good, if it's too concentrated, it can burn when it gets on broken skin. I had a paper cut at the time and tested it on my own skin first, and it didn't hurt at all, and when I used it on my dog, he didn't react any worse than he does with any other shampoo. (Scotties hate being manhandled.) In conjunction with some steroids / antibiotic shots that first time when his skin was REALLY bad, this shampoo helped keep him comfortable enough so he wasn't gnawing all the time and re-injuring himself. Now that some time has passed and his skin issues are about 95% under control, I use this whenever he starts getting a little dandery / itchy (which happens especially in damp weather), and he seems to experience almost immediate relief. I've gone through several bottles in the past few years and intend to keep ordering as needed.

We needed a tea tree oil shampoo for our girl and I chose this one based on reviews. We were happy there is not much of a scent because even though that may be great for our noses, the dog cannot escape it - so little scent is a good thing. Low suds. Another good thing. Cleans very well. Even with soft water, required much product, but we do have a Collie. Her coat after dry and brushed was SO shiny and silky. And this is without Conditioner. She has never come home from a professional bath looking and feeling so good. Last bath away from home, we brought the shampoo - "please use this!".

my dog gets horrible hotspots in the summer. He has a list of allergies..this shampoo is a life saver for him..i use it once a week and his spots are gone..iv now started lowering his bath time and using the wipes from the same place in-between baths! Amazing

We bought this shampoo at a pet store and loved it so much --we went back to get more. They were out! Glad to find on Amazon...and cheaper! I would highly recommend this shampoo if they have itchy -sensitive skin--it helped our beagle/basset mix so much! It does smell strong while shampooing your dog--but goes away after rinsing and leaves a nice clean scent. I gave away all my other dog shampoos.

This stuff is GREAT for dogs with all kinds of skin issues. Allergies, sensitive skin, etc., it works for all. I was a dog groomer for years and this was my favorite shampoo for basic skin issues. I used it on my own senior because it kept him from scratching. Remember to dilute with water before applying. Also shampoo twice and let it sit a short time the second round. Better results using less product.

I ordered this for our 14 1/2 year old Shih Tzu who has some skin issues...It cleaned her coat beautifully....Rinses cleanly...It doesn't lather profusely, but I view this as a good thing as it leaves the coat and skin so clean and fresh without leaving residue. After drying, her coat was softer than ever before and I didn't even use a conditioner...It smells so nice and fresh rather than perfumy. I used this shampoo later on our other two Shih Tzus and was equally pleased with the results...I highly tecommend this product...

I have to say, it really does stop the itching! My dog gets itchy, just like most dogs I'm sure. I've tried a few of these types of shampoos- oatmeal, sensitive skin, anti-itch... This one is the first I've used that I see a noticable difference! Before shampoo- ithcy miserable dog- after shampoo- happy itch free dog! Will definitely purchase again.

Smells good! Was packaged good. Wash my chocolate lab with this

Très bon champoing le poil de mon chien devient beau et doux. Le seul point négatif, lors du bain il sent très fort mais mon chien sent bon après.

For a rottweiler it didn't really work that well. Still itchy and doesn't have a smell at all.
