Extreme Max3003.2803 Battery Tray Holder with Strap - Group 24

I really like the Velcro hold-down strap. It keeps the battery securely in place without any more hardware - and it's easy to open if you need to replace the battery. I'm using 3 of these now. One is in a full-blown solar generator I built for power-outage emergencies. Another is in an "expansion box" that contains a second battery to increase the storage capacity of that system. Another one is in a bare-bones generator I built for powering 12V pumps for drip irrigation in my garden. I like the way the holes for mounting bolts are recessed; it keeps the bolts away from your finders but securely holds the tray to the bottom of its box.

Fits nicely in my Mirage G4 and seems sturdy. Upgraded from group 35 to group 24F battery and needed a larger tray. I was not able to use the stock j-type hold down rods (short by ¼ inch) due to adding an antivibration mat. I purchased a generic pair from Walmart that work well.Other Mirage owners: Highly recommend a heat shield (DEI) for the battery since the stock tray has plastic sides to protect the battery.

Bought to replace the tie down in an older vehicle that the battery tray has rusted mostly away. Works well.

This is a hard plastic holder that fit nicely in place of the original battery cavity. I was able to fit regular size car battery inside the tray. The strap adds extra security for keeping the battery in place.

Exactly what I ordered. Great sell.

Deformed in many ways. Decently heavy duty though. Would not buy again.
