Great brush!
Although a nail brush is a pretty mundane item, and a good one is often taken for granted, a bad one is incredibly frustrating! I had been searching for a good one for years (literally) and went through a number of disappointments before finding these. Reading the reviews led me to believe that it was worth buying and the price was very reasonable so I got four in October 2011. Over a year later and the first one is still in use. My husband is the frequent nail-scrubber as his hands get very grubby due to his work, and he loves this brush! The small nail 'bristles' are the right length and - importantly - firm, for getting under the nails. The larger bristles are still firm but have a softer feel suitable for cleaning more sensitive skin around the cuticles, fingers and so on. The brush is just beginning to show signs of wear (a few of the bristles are a bit bent) but the brush still does a great job and I won't have to get another one out of the cabinet for quite a while yet. I wouldn't care what color the brush is, although ours happen to be yellow and that's fine by me!

Effective AND Sturdy!
I love that they sell these in an 8 pack! I have them by every sink in the house. They are a very nice quality. The bristles are the perfect consistency to give you a thorough cleaning--but feel gentle. I have been using these for years and highly recommend them. They make your nails and finger beds (and toes!) squeaky clean. They get every little bit of dirt and debris, comfortably.

Best Brush I Ever Bought
I bought this brush for Christmas and I now use it every time I shower. If you are a mechanic or work on lots of projects with your hands then you know that dirt, grease, etc. always get stuck under your fingernails. This brush has a special backside that is made just for getting the dirt and grime out from under your fingernails and it works great. It's the best brush I've ever used. It also seems to be of high quality. The brushes haven't lost their stiffness, come out, or worn down like many other cheap brushes. I would recommend this to all people who do not want dirt and grime to remain underneath their fingernails.

Pretty good hand cleaner
I work underground in a coal mine and get my hands dirty everyday. It's normally not a big deal and you wash them and go on with life, but sometimes you've got to go to a wedding or funeral or some other special occasion where clean enough just isn't enough. My gf has accepted that my fingernails won't ever be completely clean on a regular basis, but I needed something to help with getting them reasonable. I bought this based on the good reviews it had and was eager to try it out. It resides in my shower and I used it when I'm in there to avoid making a mess in the floor anywhere else. After using it for a couple of months here's my rundown on it: Pro's - It is easy to grip and generally won't fall out of your hands, even in the shower. - The bristles on the big side do a good job of cleaning things out of top of your fingernails and getting grime off your hands. - The bristles on the big side seem to be very durable. - The bristles that clean under your fingernails are the correct durability to clean, but not damage under your nails. - This doesn't apply to everyone, but it's good to clean the top of your head before you shave to clean off any extra dead skin cells. Con's - The bristles on the big side are a little rough on anything but your hands if you get grease on your forearms or wherever else. - The bristles that clean under your fingernails seem easily frayed and won't outlast the other side. Overall for the price you're getting a good deal, even if you may have to buy 2 a year.

A Lifesaver!
I seem never to have time to write reviews, negative or positive, but I feel so strongly about this product that I ought to share my thoughts. Because I have a loved one with cancer who is receiving chemotherapy treatments, it is imperative that bacteria be kept to a minimum so his immune system can handle the onslaught of treatment. This hand/nail brush leaves me confident that I am not exposing my loved one to harmful germs that might compromise his health. It has a sufficiently soft-yet-sturdy set of bristles on one side that cleans the surface of my nails and rids my hands of contaminants and dead skin. On the other side is a single angled row of bristles perfectly placed in an indentation that affords easy under-nail brushing. Holes at either end of the brush allow for hanging while air-drying if desired. This is truly a life-or-death proposition for me, so I can't give this product a higher recommendation.

search for the best nail brush
I purchased this brush over 2 years ago. Pros: 1)The bristles are firm and clean nails well, but are not too hard for cuticles. 2)The bristles do not soften when wet. 3)The bristle spacing is good. 4)The brush width, the side scalloping and the side ridges make it easy and comfortable to hold. 5)Although the bristles start to deform fairly quickly, they remain effective at cleaning. Cons: 1)The bristles splay and deform fairly rapidly, making it look worn out, although the brush remains effective. 2)The colors and appearance of the brush are probably not elegant enough for a master bath. Overall, this nail brush ranks as one of the best brushes I have ever had.

Good brush but only lasts a couple of months
The brush is a good size and easy to hold. The larger side of bristles are soft and clean your fingers pretty good. They are not much use for under your nails. The smaller narrow row on the other side is pretty stiff and works well for cleaning under your nails. That small row of stiff bristles, in the 2 months I have used it, has become useless. The bristles get bent at different directions and there is nothing left to get under your nail. I don't think I was very rough on it. Mostly getting dirt out from under my nails from working outside. I think this is a good brush as long as you look at it as something you have to replace every couple of months.
