With the onset of spring, our lab picked up an itch that started getting acute. Since our experience with our vets was not very different from those of other pet owners, I went through product reviews for several weeks, before deciding to try my luck, self-prescribing Vetricyn. Applied topically twice a day, the product is safe even if the pet licks it a bit. And our lab has mighty well impressed us with the results and stops being irritable within a day. So much that our neighbour also borrowed it from us for her boxer. So while the pets enjoy the outdoor parks and the warm sea waters, a few itches and rashes now and then can be well managed.

My dog had some red spots on her stomach wasn't sure what it was, looked up on line it was suggested i tried this Vetericyn plus dog hot spot gel it worked wonders after 2 days absolutely over moon with this worked wonders would purchase again if needed.

Cat didn’t like spray sound

Came in a spray bottle & very watery. I'd deliberately chosen a gel so puzzled but started using it straight away as we needed it

My poor pooch suffers with skin flare ups, especially in the summer months picking and scratching.From the first time I used it there was a reduction in his licking habit. After a couple of days his redress had virtually healed.I just wish it came in a bigger bottle.It has made such a difference to him. Definitely value for money will be buying more soon.

The media could not be loaded.  Nothing to like yet as product broke and not 1st review seen with this problem. They need to resolve this problem with pump. Will be sending back and now dog as suffer with itchy ears until new arrived.

I've always been a fan of this brand and there products because everything were tried has been so good but wow this hot spot spray I am seriously impressed! My dog had a sore on his leg and it didn't matter what we tried it wasn't getting better. The vets gave us cream, that didn't work. Whilst trying things it was just getting worse to the point it was raw and very very sore. He kept licking at it probably trying to sooth it. I looked on amazon at what I could find and this popped up. I knew it should be good because as I said I'm a fan of this brand but I was seriously impressed. We sprayed it on his leg 3 times the 1st day and when I looked the following morning you could already see a difference. Just after a few days all the soreness had dried up. I went to look at his leg this morning and its that good now it took me a while to find because its barely visible.Thank you so much for all the incredible products you make. You have saved us so much money on vet visits.

My ridgeback suffers awfully with grass allergies, epecially on her big floppy ears. They are red and irritated almost immediately after leaving the park. Combining antihistamines, wiping her down and spraying this stuff on her ears (carefully) brings down the redness almost immediately and she doesn't scratch herself to bits!If your dog suffers this stuff is amazing!

This product works wonders for hot spots! Use this in addition to cleansing wipes that are antibacterial and the hot spots clear up very fast. I used the Duoxo S3 wipes with this and the combo is great

This product has worked WONDERS on my cat’s ear in just a month. In September, my cat started losing hair on his ear. Initially, his ear only had a small patch of hair missing –– with a little scratch. I first thought he might have just over itched in that one area. However, after monitoring it through the week, it got progressively worse. The once small patch of hair missing was now a significant part of his ear, even going a little bit into the back of his hair. I was getting progressively nervous as to what was happening to my cat’s ear. I looked all over the internet and stumbled across this product. I purchased it right away. Once I got the product, I started using it on my cat’s ear. It is a gel consistency that comes out of a spray bottle. Rather than spraying it directly on my cat’s ear (which is quite alarming to him), I would spray about three pumps directly onto a folded paper towel and then dab it on my cat’s ear. I would do this first thing in the morning before breakfast and at night before dinner (twice a day). After using this product, I saw his ear was getting better after about a week and getting MUCH BETTER at the two-week mark. Today, it’s been about a month since I saw the first small patch of hair missing, and his ear is COMPLETELY BACK TO NORMAL. I am so happy that I found this product, and my cat is back to being ok. I stopped using the medicine after about 2-3 weeks. I am no longer using this product because my cat’s ear looks perfect again (about a month later)!! I will add pictures to this post. I recommend this product to anyone whose cat is having a similar experience. It has worked wonders!!!

Brought instant relief to our pet. Will not go without it.

Back in May my cat started itching her ears really bad. It got to the point that she scratched her skin raw and the infection spread to her eyes. The photo shown is actually her after spending a week at the vet. Needless to say, I was not happy when I got my poor baby back like the first photo shows. The vet said it was an infection and then sent me home with antiseptic spray to put on her skin. We tried this for 3 weeks and $200 later and she was only getting worse. We decided to take her to another vet in a town 30 minutes away. The first visit went great. They ran some tests and gave her a steroid shot with some more spray and ear ointment that would need to be squeezed and massages into her ear. You could see some improvement a day later, but soon she went back to scratching and getting worse. I took 2 more vet trips so figure something out, and nothing would work. I even tried other remedies and tricks like a cone (she pulled it off in 3 seconds), booties, socks, Velcro socks, anti itch spray. NOTHING WOULD WORK!! We spent roughly $500 on treatments plus the fuel and time taken off work to get her in to see the vet. I was desperate and began skimming through amazon products with good reviews. I was willing to try anything because she was miserable and in the same condition for months already. I came across this product and it is amazing!!! I will say, though, that instead of spraying the ointment onto the hot spot, you should pour some on a paper towel or towel and dab it on the infected area. When we sprayed it on our cat, she started itching even more. I don’t know why, but when we dabbed it on her she began to improve drastically. I’m pleased to say that she is doing great right now. Her skin is healed, and we’re on day 4 of no ointment (I’m trying to see how she’ll do without treatment) and SHE’S DOING PERFECT!!! Overall a great product especially for the price.
