Grabbit Mat Mover Tool

Well, initially I loved these. The first 10 mats or so pulled great. Then, not so much. Now they just slip off. Well, one slips off consistently and the other about 50% of the time. No way to tighten the grip that I can determine. So now, more plastic waste.

I purchased one Grabbit to try and I now plan to purchase another to keep at my other barn. I use it to move mats. With the Grabbit, I can easily move mats that measure 1" thick x 4' x 5'. It is extremely difficult to move a mat this size or larger by using your hands only. You can't get a good grip. With this device I've also been able to move mats that are 1" thick x 5' x 10'. Granted, it is more difficult, but it is doable. I have moved some mats that are more smooth or worn i.e. no ribbing, ridges... where the Grabbit will slip off; however, you can easily push forward & hold the piece that grabs the mat to move it. It seems to be very durable as I've had no problems or breakage. This device is a great asset for me and can't imagine not having one available ever again.

I purchased two and am glad I did! These are wonderful little contraptions! BUT...they do not grip wet or muddy stall mats very securely. I have also used these to move a very large outdoor throw rug and they were amazingly handy! Kinda pricey, but in my opinion, there is not a better way on the planet to "get a grip" on your stall mats to move them around.

delivered promptly but product is a waste, the ridges on the yellow part will not grab my trailer mats first time out. I have another brand, the blue one and it is similar in that it doesn't grip well but at least it lasted longer than this one. Someone needs to tell the makers to make the ridges bigger. the release button is a nice feature but since it doesn't grip its useless. Im very disappointed because I need this product!! Make it better please.

Super nice , Mats are easy to move . Never move a heavy rubber mat without this tool

These work great on new, clean, and dry mats, but if the mats are wet or dirty they won't hold.

Have not used for long don't know durability, but this thing is a life saver. Made moving horse stall mats a pleasure.
