First day on install my dog attempted to jump off truck. Item did its job and held him and prevented him from hitting road. Highly recommend adjusting the length upon install. Good and sturdy item.

I love this product! I have two hounds who love riding in the truck, one of whom sticks his head waaaaay over the edge of the bed. This product helps keep him secured in the truck and gives me peace of mind while still allowing him freedom to move around.

Looks so flimsy in the picture and I was hesitant but needed a double tie. It's made well for the price.

My 50 lb dog snapped this way too easily…. Had to kinda fix it back. It’s good for them to know how far they can go though.

Our dogs like to stand up, hanging their front legs on the side of the truck which scares me that they’ll scratch the paint and fall out. This was the perfect fix for that! You can change the length of it across the bed of the truck but also the length of each leash. They don’t get tangled on each other and can switch sides easily.

This product is great. It's kept the dogs (malamute mix at 85lbs and pitbull mix 55lbs) held tight even when they have pulled and yanked to get out when we reach the dog park. A dog did jump out (the malamute) but he learned his lesson. He was tall enough (the tailgate was let down to let him out but he was impatient) to where it was tight but it wasn't choking. He turned into a big baby but hasn't done it since. The strength of the straps is not a question and has made me and my spouse more trustful about leaving the dogs in the bed while driving. We were concerned about them jumping out when the truck was stopped, especially with temptations of other dogs around or food or even geese strolling the streets. (It's colorado.) The strap horizontally and 2 vertically are adjustable too, so if you want to keep them from standing on the side of the truck bed you have the ability to modify that as well. Would buy another without question! They also have a version with 3 straps.
