Ancient Egypt Color Bk

We bought this for our Pagan Children's activities at the Temple of the Sacred Gift and it has been a fabulous tool to help our Children partake of the Egyptian Spiritual path.

WASTE OF MONEY, IT'S A KIDS BOOK

I had this book when I was a teen-ager, and I used to color it while listening to music, carefully choosing which colored pencils to use for each figure or detail.The drawings are adapted from ancient Egyptian tomb art. So by looking at them we have a glimpse of how the Egyptians saw their world, including their daily lives, their kings and queens, and their gods. They are very detailed, which makes it fun to color.I'd recommend this book for children in middle school and up, and adults who enjoy coloring as a relaxing creative outlet. Younger children who like detailed coloring pictures might do well with it too. I think colored pencils are the ideal medium, though watercolors with a fine brush could work. (Or watercolor pencils--color first and lightly touch with water afterwards to blend the colors...)

This book is full of large images and designs from the Late 19th Dynasty. A fun book to just look through. A great addition to a child's library of books.

My daughter currently is crazy about everything Ancient Egypt and she liked this colouring book very much. All pictures are interesting and there are some bits of information telling about what is depicted. Really good book.

Brilliant patterns and pictures for our 7 year old grandchild to colour.
