Just a glorified fan!
Used this product to try to cool down my daughters small bedroom but it hardly dropped the temperature at all. I followed the simple instructions but it didnt work as expected at all.

Overpriced!
I love it but not worth£30!!Plastic, feels cheap but does the job. Wouldn’t have paid any more than £15 for it!

Pleasantly surprised!
I'm pleasantly surprised with this little air cooler. I wasnt expecting much from it as it's very small and wasnt exactly expensive, however it cools surprisingly well. Not air-con cold, but certainly cooler than a fan. Could probably get cooler still if I froze the filter as suggested in the manual, but not had chance to do that yet.Small size fits nicely on my desk at work, and the air speed isn't exactly a gale but enough to cool my little office. The only real disappointment is the light - even with the light off it doesn't show (I actually thought it was broken at first, until I lifted the filling flap and saw it glowing!) but as it's really only a gimmi6im bot too bothered. I'm sure it would glow nicely at night. Also a few of the fins had come off when it arrived, but they were reasonably simple to pop back into their holes. All in all, pretty impressed for the money!

Better than expected
It's no replacement for an Aircon unit but for the price it's ok.I got these to put beside the kids beds rather than a fan which just recirculates the warm air. They seem to do the trick. It helps a lot if the water's really cold so i put some ice cubes in it. You can also freeze the filter if you like.I doubt it will bring the room temperature down but it works well as a directional cooler.I was going to give it 3 stars but for 20-something quid I don't think you can do much better.

Its okay.
First of all, this product is ridiculously overpriced. You can find the exact same thing on ebay for about £10, dont get it from here. Now, onto the actual review.Pros:-Genuinely produces cold air.-Easy to use.-Comes with a USB cable, so you dont have to buy one.-Easy to set up, just plug it in and add water.-Lights are decent, but i dont really see the point in them? Its a fan, why would you want multicoloured lights.Cons:-VERY weak. Even on the highest setting.-Takes some effort if actually want it to produce cond enough air.-Doesnt cool down a room, more like a small desk fan.-You have to be quite close to feel any kind of effect.Since were currently going through a heatwave, I thought this 'Air Cooler' would be a really good idea. It wasnt. I will admit, it does its job but not as well as the amazon description makes you think it will. Its currently at the highest speed and about 20cm away from me and i can just barely feel it.What the description doesnt tell you is that you should soak and freeze the filters for a while before actually using the product. Ice water works best aswell, so you do have to wait a while before you can this product properly. When i first turned it on (using some room temperature water i had lying around) i honestly felt nothing- its just inconvientant that i have to freeze it every time i want to use it.I would really recommend saving your money and buying a £30 fan from logik instead. Works far better lol and i dont have to faff about with it.

Not really all that great.
The "portable" air conditioner doesn't really cool anything, all it does is just push air with some "filters". You wet the "filters" and it blows "cold" air. All this really does is just blow air, it will not go colder than 2 degrees Celsius. It is really loud too, the fan is cheap and it emits a really high pitch noise which I can hear very much, it really hurts my ears, you may vary. Over all, this is really cheap and doesn't really deserve the £15 price tag but more of 10 or less. When I say cheap, I mean REALLY cheap. The "humidifier" stopped working by the looks of it which I'm disappointed on, so this is nothing but an expensive fan in a box. Nothing is inside but a filter and a fan, literally all there is.

Not Quiet
The unit is a good size for a bedroom and does a average job. The noise level is not so good even at the lowest speed, due to cheap fan assembly. Vibration is the main culprit , there are much quieter fan assemblies on the market . Overall not worth nearly 30 quid I paid. maybe should have purchased the JML one as I have heard that this is much quieter.Update - 2.5 weeks failed fan - changed rating to lowest I can set. DO NOT BUY rubbish product, fan became so noisy Returned awaiting my money back
