I’m on my second bottle of this D-Mannose and it has genuinely been a game changer for me. I bought it originally after dealing with recurrent UTIs and decided to take it daily for a stretch. Once my symptoms finally settled, I switched to only taking it whenever I felt the slightest hint of a UTI coming on. Since then, not a single one has turned into a full infection. No side effects, no issues, nothing but relief. That said, this new bottle caught me off guard. The capsules are noticeably larger, which already makes them harder to swallow compared to the previous version. That prompted me to check the label, and sure enough, the formula has changed too. My first bottle clearly stated it contained no sugar. This one lists sugar as an ingredient and shows 1 gram on the label. I can’t figure out why sugar would be added to a supplement that is intended to help prevent UTIs. It doesn’t seem beneficial, and for some people it might even be counterproductive. I’m going to try this updated formula to see if I get the same results, but the change feels unnecessary and definitely reduces my confidence in the product. If it works as well as the original, great, but I’d like the brand to explain why this change was made and whether it impacts effectiveness. Bottom line: It has worked incredibly well for me, but the new formulation raises questions. I’d recommend it, with the caveat that the ingredients have changed.
