So so phone, poor Android implementation
The phone itself is ok. Burns a little hot under heavy use like data transfer or even listening to iheart. Screen refresh seems a little slow.. No manual included. Support consists of search for answers and getting hundreds ofarticles which may or may not help.My biggest gripe is the implementation of Android 7.0 itself. No indicators for missed calls or text messages. Notifications are turned on and the phone beeps and buzzes all day, but I cant figure out why. Came with a weather app installed that I hate but cannot uninstall. Clock app is kludgy and has no timer. And no double tap wake up the phone when it is sleeping! All in all highly disappointing to this 5 year Android veteran.

Garbage
Didn't last more than a couple of years. The updates made the phone useless. Tried to factory reset the phone and now I'm in an endless loop of "reset from old phone" and it won't even let me log into Google. Factory reset is useless as it doesn't even go make to the build OS, but the "updated" garbage OS. Would not recommend. Would not buy again.

Long battery life
I had Zenfone 3 before and got used to it's screen size. The Zenone max is slightly narrower than before, it's easier to type with both hands, but feels too easy to slip away from my palm. Need to get used to it. The batter can keep going for a couple of days, but gets hot than my old one. The cameras are very nice too.

Great dual-SIM phone for the money
I got this because I was tired of carrying around an ATT phone for work, and a T-Mobile phone for home. I had to get new SIMs from both carriers, but that was very easy, and then the phone was up and running.Camera is not great, but acceptable for the price range. One big advantage of this phone is that bloatware like Facebook was not bundled in without an option to remove, so I am not using nearly as much memory as I was on my previous Samsung Note phone.

Works great out of the box
Easy to setup and get going, everything worked. Phone picks up LTE on our bands (I researched that before hand) and so far battery life has been really good (better than I expected). The phone is responsive and the camera is impressive for the price paid. Hands down the best value for money I have had in a device.

Asus phones are all I will buy
Got this for an older person because I've been buying this brand for years and his cell was going on 10 years old. For a cheap phone is actually really nice. The specs aren't too dated right now and I doubt a person not too current and not wanting super fancy will love it.It's fast. Fingerprint reader works well. Facial recognition is nice. Asus doesn't come with a bunch of bloatware like other brands do. Setup easy. Easy to use. He loves it and I love that I don't get calls for directions because he has GPS now. I'm a great daughter. You're welcome, Dad.

Camera is not the best but phone works great!
I was using this phone and, after several years of dropping it (even on tile floors), I needed to replace it. The transition was seemless. The camera is not the best but I am not a selfie fanatic.

Great phone for the price.
I bought this phone for my teenage son. The phone does what other more expensive phones do. Excellent quality at a very affordable price.
