SG-1 Silicone Treated Gun Storage Case, Grey

Bought these to protect specific pieces from scrapes and dings in my crowded gun safe till I get a bigger one which may be years away. Using them for two damascus barrel doubles, a Beretta over under, a Winchester model 75 and a SRC-3 for a scoped Winchester Ranger 94. They are made of thick material and do a great job protecting the finish and wood. They do take up more space than I expected because of the material so I couldn't sleeve all my long guns but they do what they're supposed to do and the other pieces, which are utility guns, get some protection because they're not in contact with the pieces that are in sacks. I haven't had them long enough to comment on their preservative properties but I've had a "Golden Rod" heating dehumidifier in my gun safe for 20 years and haven't had any issues with rust on guns that haven't been handled for years.

Although intended for shotguns, the SG-1 Bore Store is the perfect way to house and protect the full-length Mosin-Nagant M91/30 rifle (with sling attached) - or any length of Mosin, for that matter. The Bore Store affords padded protection and a way to thwart moisture from attacking the rifle, due to the silicon treating of the Bore Store. When transporting the Mosin, I leave the rifle in the Bore Store and transfer the whole package to a soft-sided case for added protection. I bought these to protect my guns from gun safe marks. They are really heavy material and would be suitable for use as a gun case for transport. Much better than typical gun socks.

A bit snug on my 12 gauge that has a scope, but the whole gun is in. Took a little bit of work to get it in and I suspect the same to get it out but beyond that issue, it is a winner.

I bought a storage sock for each of my guns..... nice protection in the gun safe or in a gun case while traveling to the field.

Very good quality and just what was needed for storage of extra shotgun barrels.
