I had a lot of questions and they have all been answered.Care, grooming and training are all covered.

This is a comprehensive book on caring for dachshunds. I bought it for my 16 year old in anticipation of buying a puppy next year. It's a book that isn't overwhelming to people who want some information but don't want to spend weeks reading through it. Very happy with the purchase.

Great book. Definitely recommend! I read this after I got my first miniature dachshund and it helped a lot throughout the training.

This is a great read for anyone who is looking into getting a Miniature Dachshund. It covers anything and everything you might want to know so you know what to expect. Cu dos to the Author for taking the amount of time it took to speak with breeders, rescues and owners of this wonderful breed. The information in this book is accurate and knowledgeable. Being a breeder of Miniature Dachshund myself, I found this book to be very informative and helpful and would recommend it to anyone thinking about getting a Miniature Dachshund or even who owns the breed.

Couldn’t believe this when it arrived. How can Amazon get away with selling such poor products? Whilst it is advertised with nice colour pictures of high quality, this arrived with all pages (except the front cover) in black and white...with very poor printing quality even. Looks like it was printed at home on a very old printer. The paper used is also very cheap quality paper.How can the seller justify such a high price for a poor quality book. Very disappointed. Will be sending this back.

Was a little disappointed with this book. Most of it is common scence and stuff I needed to look up did not exsist. It was better to use Google. Maybe a nice thoughtful xmas box for someone.

I would say this book is suitable for people who have never had a dog before. The book itself is well set out and informative for a new owner.I bought this book as I was looking for more detailed information on the breed itself. Sadly, this isn't the book for us
