TAILGATE PAINTED SUPER WHITE 040 TO1910100 Fits 2005-2015 TOYOTA TACOMA

Just replaced my old tailgate last night with this new one. It is an affordable option and overall a good looking tailgate. Switching over the old hardware was easy and fairly quick. I am ultimately happy with it, but there are two reasons (so far) that lead to the three stars, reasons I can live with, but reasons that others may not.1. One of the welded bolts for the lower passenger side bracket was welded on at almost a 45 degree angle. The bolt that threads into it cannot sit flush and the tailgate does not sit centered to the back of the truck. The tailgate works and doesn't rub, but does need to be mentioned and should have been checked prior to shipping.2. The paint job is less than factory finish. My helper called it "orange peal". If you look across the paint you can see little pocketing reminiscent of an orange peal... at least it isn't golf ball... The color matched well and I can live with it.Overall, I am happy with the tailgate, but these two issues (especially the welded nut) are things that I have to knock stars off for and make others aware of. Longevity will be seen, but it looks like a factory second and I am confident that it will go the distance. In the unlikely event that I wreck this tailgate too, I would buy again.
