Easy to use
This tool made it super easy to remove the bottom crank on my MTB, easy to attach to the ratchet making removal and install a snap. Practical and durable, looking forward to use on future jobs.

Great tool for the price
The right tool for the job. I have a bike with an ISIS bottom bracket that I needed to replace and I lost my old tool. I didn't want to spend too much since a lot of bikes are going to hollowtech. Was afraid this wasn't going to be that good considering the cost, but it worked just fine. More than fine actually It removed the bottom bracket and there's practically not a scratch on the tool.

Works great
I needed this for one thing- to mount the chainring (Shimano) on my new ebike. Worked great, seems durable and well made. I didn't stress the tool, but it seems like it would last. Very good value for money.

Do not skimp on this tool!
Bought a Walmart bike for a project. Needed to remove the bottom bracket. Bought a bicycle tool kit here on Amazon. Others say "don't do it!" I didn't listen. Used the bottom bracket tool (20 spline) on the drive side. Kept slipping out and wouldn't budge. Removed the non-drive side just fine. Kept trying on drive side and fail fail fail. I noticed bits of metal there from using the cheap tool and slipping out too much so I stopped. The reason it was slipping was the chamfered edge weakening the splines from grabbing firm. Why?! I bought this tool because no chamfer. Do NOT buy cheap bicycle tools. This one was very inexpensive, however and necessary from time to time. My bottom bracket removal worked with some effort but without fail or slipping (or chipping!).

Perfect!!
I bought a cheap bike tool kid several years ago with one of these bottom bracket(BB) spline tools it barely fit over the Standard OctaLink/ISIS BB on my road bike to remove the old BB. That cheap one would not fit over a MTB I am rebuilding. The inside diameter of my old one measured 23.92mm the BB shaft was 24.21mm.I ordered this one because of the reviews, and I’m glad I did. This BB spline drive tool fit perfectly like it is supposed to, and I was able to remove the BB with ease minutes after it was delivered.

Did not work on the Shimano BB-UN300
This tool worked for my early 90’s Shimano bottom bracket but it did not work on the Shimano BB-UN300 replacement. I bought the Park Tool BBT-22 which worked for both the old and new units. The splines on this CyclingDeal tool are too wide for the newer bottom bracket.Follow up: CyclingDeal contacted me and resolved my issue. Surprised me by the quick customer service response.

Happier than I was yesterday
I originally gave this item a bad review and one star because it wouldn't sit straight on the splines while I tried to loosen with a 1/2 inch socket wrench attached. After watching some youtube videos someone used a bolt and some washers to screw in to where the crank bolts into. He didn't know what size bolt, it's M8-1 and then about 2 inches long with some washers works great. Place the tool onto the splines and put the bolt and washers on screwing into where the crank arms would bolt. One note, as you loosen the bottom bracket you will also need to loosen the bolt a little at a time. I'm now giving the removal tool 4 stars as it should have worked in the first place. The overall quality of the tool looks fine, it just doesn't seem to fit as good as it should.

The splines on the tool are machined just a hair too big to get anything done
All it does is chew up bottom brackets and cause more trouble
