Ohio Steel4222V2 Lawn Sweeper, 22 cu.ft, Gray

I moved and now have a very large yard and couldn't us the leaf blower I had. Purchased the lawn sweeper figuring I could use it for the leaves in the fall and the grass in the spring and summer. It picks up the leafs really well at just wish I had purchased it soon when the leafs started to fall. Fills up in one pass with the amount of trees I have. Would still recommend

Easy to assemble, and good quality product.

Works great. I was absolutely surprised at how well it worked. Easy to put together, it took me less than 30 minutes and it was ready to go.Doesn’t receive 5 stars because the packaging was seriously lacking and resulted in a dent in the product and two slightly bent tubes. Had to finesse the tubes a bit to make them line up but it doesn’t affect the performance at all. I just expect a little more care in how they ship their products.You pay for a product in the condition it’s in when it leaves the factory, but receive it in a “slightly used” condition, as if Ace Ventura delivered it.Do better Ohio Steel.

I've bought from the big box stores. This were expensive and only good for a year or two. This was priced fairly and worked amazingly! I'm so happy with this purchase! Highly recommend

Does a good job with leaves and debris.

Works well to pick up sticks from storm, grass, leaves.The 42 inch unit is massive and heavy. Assembly of “spreader bar” is a pain to line up thumbscrew and not cross thread.Hints: get a magnetic hitch pin, attach an anchor loop to lawnmower away from muffler and attach dump rope to the anchor (if rope drops it will get wound around brush), after dumping for transport without collecting pivot bag forward toward mower and tie dump rope to hold it up. To adjust brush height, with unit on pavement or concrete, move height bar so brush just touches pavement/concrete. I use 2nd hole.

Update. Bag is a bust. Unless you have very flat land and can use it on turf the bag is going to fall apart. I use it on a sloping yard to control weeds and it’s hard packed dirt. The bag is falling apart after 8 or 10 uses. The bottom gets cracks that need to be guerilla taped after every use now. I am still pissed at myself for not catching that it was was not offset.If I had not waited too long to return it I probably would have because it is not offset. I just waited to long to assemble before I figured it out.Pros: Its big and wide and sweeps all the little bits and even the tiny dried up chihuahua poops I miss when scooping. It does a great job at it. I finally was able to use it after all the rain in Cali and was pleasantly surprised at how well it sweeps.Cons: the bag has ripped after 3 uses. You can’t fill it too much if the grass is green because it very heavy so you just have to make a bunch of dump trips. The screw holding the support that holds the bag up keeps falling out. It’s now lost and the support is bent. We fixed it but the support pushed through the bottom before it was repaired. And don’t drop the dump rope. It gets sucked in. IT IS NOT OFFSET.

Box arrived pretty beaten up. None of the parts missing or broken. Easy assembling for one person. The button release that attaches the tow bar to the unit wouldn't stay fastened, replaced it with a bolt/pin, also did the other side as a preventative measure. It picks up good, I wish with the wheels were more studded so they wouldn't slip on wet grass (causes the brush to not spin too).Great tool for the price.
