**Q: New to welding. What is good spatter? Don’t you want the metal in the weld pool not clean up?**
A: A lot of spatter is typical with arc welding, that’s why we wear leathers.

**Q: Can these work with gas welding?**
A: No the shielding is in the stick

**Q: Can this be used for dc? The ad says ac and dc but the  packaging says ac.**
A: I’m pretty sure it’s AC. That’s how I use it. 
Awesome machine. So small and light weight and powerful. I’ve welded 2 3/8” oil field pipe with it.

**Q: What is stick length?**
A: Should say so in listing. Harbor freight if need it faster approx same price but use your coupons yawl get.
