Old WestMen's Harness Western Boot

This is now my second purchase of these boots. They look good and I actually like the zipper now that I am used to them. They are well built as proven by my first set which I purchased three years ago. I still use the first pair often for farm and ranch purposes, and I have a history of being hard on footwear. Classic leather sole boots only last me a couple of months before the so!es wear through and my last pair of name brand boots with a rubber sole didn't do much better as they fell apart on the inside. The boot are comfortable, especially after breaking in. Make sure to purchase half a size larger as they run small and you might need them wide, as I think they run a bit thin.

These boots are sturdy, not so wide on top so not bulky under boot cut jeans. The side zipper is seamless and good to have. Fit very well and comfortable. They just look very cool with a distresses look. Definitely recommend. Returned similar boots for a much higher price and bought these. My husband loves them.

TL:DR - These boots are seriously underrated for the price and way better than Dingo (made in China). Not sure why the listing for these on Amazon doesn't have better pictures, so I shared a few of my own. Definitely give these a try!More Details - So I've been shopping around on Amazon and brick-and-mortar stores for a new pair of harness boots for years and I found these 'Old West' brand boots (made in India) completely by accident. I had bought several different brands through Amazon to compare with the intent to keep the best ones and return the rest.As soon as I tried these 'Old West' boots on, I knew immediately I had found my pair. The fit was perfect for me, whereas the Dingos were really loose and would slip off while walking. The leather is beautiful, thick and feels durable compared to the Dingos which felt thin and flimsy like rags, as if you had bought them off garbage sites like Wish or Temu, which for the price ($100+) is surprising.These boots are not perfect by any means and do have some minor issues with the stitching (see photos) and uneven varnish in some places, but these can all be fixed at a cobbler (show repair place) for cheap.Lastly I wanted to mention that the scratches and scuffs on my boots in the photos were from wearing them and breaking them in though the stitching coming loose on the inner was like that when it arrived. Personally that's not a huge issue since I will be using them heavily anyway.

Good price and the uppers are much better than the boots I'd been buying for about 10 years.These are not work boots. Good for being presentable in public. They look good and fit very true to US men's show size.These were not intended to be motorcycle boots, unless you typically wear flip flops.

The overall quality is good, however the inside seams that join together along sides of your ankles rub up against the ankle cause an uncomfortable/irritating soreness to the ankles. I returned my pair for that reason.

Gave these boots three stars and NOT because of the quality. They are made really, really well! The three stars is based off of the fit and shipping time. First the fit. I wear a size 11 and these boots are almost too tight. Almost. I would suggest ordering a half size bigger if you tend to wear thick socks. Thick socks for mine makes the boots uncomfortable. The shipping was sloooooooow. Actually ordered a second pair of boots from a different and farther away supplier, two days after buying these and the other boots came 2 days sooner. Not sure if it was the shipping company that was used (FedEx) or what but, wasn't real satisfied with that all. Overall though, the boots are great. They look wonderful and have super, rubber tread that provides excellent traction even in the snow. Just consider what I said about the size before ordering.

These boots are great! I've owned many pairs that cost more than double the price. They are well constructed and very comfortable. As for the heels, there is nothing wrong with them, they are not "Cardboard". They are some sort of plastic or hard rubber. I highly recommend these boots!
