What power extension cable could I use between the camera and the power supply if I needed to reach up to 20ft

I have a 2.5 mm, 10' long male-female cord that I'm pretty sure I bought on Amazon. Don't recall brand name or price, but I believe they are available on Amazon in longer lengths.

Anyone know why the KP is not compatible even though it uses the same batteries? Seems very strange.

Might be that the KP's battery door has to be closed for the thing to operate. Turn on your KP and then open the door. If it goes off like it does when the card door is open, that's why it wouldn't work in a KP. The door must be open for the cord to hang out. OR...it might be that the KP doesn't have a clip to hold in the battery like the other Pentaxes do - and that the door holds in the battery. I don't have a KP so these are just suggestions to rule out/confirm. If either is true, that's why it would not be compatible.
