Goody Large Lift Hair Comb

I love this comb! I've had one for many years and use it every time I wash my hair. In fact it's about the only thing I ever comb my hair with. I have long thick curly hair that gets very tangled. I comb through my hair with this comb while in the shower w/ conditioner in. It works great, so I finally bought another to take w/ me when traveling. I always fear I'm going to leave it behind, so now I don't have to worry about it. I was surprised it came in manly colors (grey & black), but not a big deal. I'll probably order another.

The product is NOT the one that is pictured. I wish if they were going to change it they would also change the image. Trying to replace a favorite and the new one is not the one pictured which was the favorite. Too much of a pain to return and of course it is covered in the package so you can't tell for sure that it is different.

After reading the reviews I thought this would be like the old school awesome pink pick I have from high school. It is not. It is not as smooth and sturdy. Had I known I would not have bought it. Too flimsy and the plastic isn't as smooth so it catches on my hair. If anyone ever finds the pink one please let me know.

I was looking for one of these to use in the shower to replace one I had for over 30 years (also Goody brand). I was amazed not to be able to just find one in my local drug store... Anyway, this one has teeth that are spaced a little too far apart, and they are somehow not as slick of plastic as my super old one so they don't glide through my hair as well. I also don't care as much for the non-handle. However, it does a decent job of detangling and helping to rinse conditioner out of my hair. I don't think it will last 30 years like the other one, though. It doesn't seem as sturdy.

After searching local stores for a pick/comb like one I've had for decades, I finally gave up and bought this one, which is as close as I could come. My old one has "staggered" teeth, but the reviews for this one convinced me to give it a try. I have A LOT of very fine, but healthy hair and an hour or so after styling it with the best of products, it tends to lay flat and lifeless. Using this comb to lift it from the roots as I blow dry, makes a bigger difference than any other method I've tried.So, as for function, I am pretty pleased with it, but the price was way higher than I would have paid if I could find one local. I guess if it lasts me a couple of decades, I shouldn't complain too much.

I'd been searching high and low for a plastic goody pick after I lost my one I had for 12 years and finally found this one. I love it! This is not the cheaper plastic ones that have sharp points and hurt your head. I have thick, curly hair and this is the only thing that can take the tangles out after a shower without killing my head. So happy I finally found it....there aren't many out there like this anymore!

Actually got this for our daughter's hair which is fine, straight yet she has a lot of it. Her hair tends to get tangled easily and some of the combs just weren't helping. This does have wide comb teeth so it helps with the tangles. Our daughter also likes combing her own hair with it.

I was very disappointed because I ordered the blue and white one and received an ugly purple and grey one. Even in the review it pictures the blue and white one.
