Suggestion: As a general rule of thumb, you should always & only purchase batteries that your camera's manufacturer recommends. Using any other battery type outside of the camera manufacturer's specific recommendations can result in electrical damage (overheating, short--circuit, etc,) to the camera itself, the incorrect battery that was used to power the camera or even both. I would simply return the NPFP--50 camera battery (or batteries) & research AMAZON again for the correct batteries (NPFP--30) for your camera. Unless the NPFP--30 battery manufacturer is no longer making those batteries anymore, depending on the age of your camera (it might be too old now, out of date, obsolete, discontinued, etc.) you should still be able to find the exact battery match for your camera.
