John Brown to Bob Dole: Movers and Shakers in Kansas History Paperback – Illustrated, January 10, 2013

I'm not a huge fan of Kansas. I had to buy this book for a class and it was the best of the 3 textbooks I had to read. It was the only one i could keep up with and understand. Not a bad read, but I definitely think there are more interesting topics out there than Kansas History.

This is probably only of interest is you are from Kansas. Not a lot of good history, but more profiles of some Kansas "kooks." More history and facts would have been more intersting rather than evaluations of "people."
