Vango Bondi Low

I bought this as another option instead of my drive away awning. I had previously bought a SunnCamp Canopy 260 for this but it is a bit short for my Transit camper and it's also open ended. I've used the Bondi Low over this weekend and have been really impressed. We had a hardstanding pitch and there are plenty of pegging points to secure it safely and it kept us warm and dry in spite of the regularly downpours. The only downside was the pegs which are absolutely useless for use on anything other than soft grass but fortunately I had others with me. I would strongly recommend this to anyone looking for this type of awning.

One of the best things I have bought recently. I used to have a normal canopy off my VW campervan but this is way better. It can be opened up to offer loads of light and air like a canopy, but we now have sides, a removable front and removable ground sheet. So it’s great in all weathers. Took me 10 minutes to put up the first time. Slid straight into my VWs awning rail and then just pegged it out. We are really happy with this. Vango do have some really good bits of kit.

A brilliant awning which is very quick and easy to put up!! I am an experienced campervaner & have a variety of awnings & this is absolutely perfect for a long weekend away. I am very happy with this awning!! 5*!!

Flapped loudly in wind, sonic boom claps in gusts. In still weather, but raining, the roof pools because it is too flat. Easily the very worst piece of camping gear that I have ever purchased. A great pity, we bought it on the Vango reputation. Took ages to pitch, even by three very experienced campers familiar with modern designs. Only useful in perfectly calm dry weather.

This awning is just the right fit for our Eriba caravan.
