my pad is warped/bent and i can’t get it to lay flat. is there a way to fix this?

If I bought a 90 degree micro usb cable, would there be an issue with voltage or amp of the cable?

I would say it depends on the 90° cable it self. My pad is plugged into a standard USB 2.0 port and and works as well as it did when it was plugged into my powered hub.
