I was hesitant to purchase this one because reviews said the little color rings weren’t wood and were plastic, this is true. I initially wanted to find a set that were wood but am actually really happy with this. You really can’t tell their plastic just by looking at them and they hold up really well! I was also worried that the rings were huge, I saw other sets that were much smaller, but truthfully I think this size is much better for small hands to play with and they are easier to find scattered on the floor! I also love this one because kids can focus just on numbers and counting, a lot of other sets have the shapes (great if that’s what you want) but I was looking for a set that would help him focus on just this aspect!My only complaint is 3 of the pegs for the rings have fallen out, but they stick right back in and work like a charm! However, I’m disappointed in their color selection. The light / dark green, light / dark orange, and purple / pink is too close in color for a small child to distinguish. This causes confusion making it not as effective as it could have been.
