No PFAS or other chemicals and strong enough when using the proper side-to-side technique
I use this now to replace Glide floss. It is the thinnest out of all the non-petroleum-based flosses, but it is somewhat weaker. It is plenty strong when you use the technique of gently going side-to-side (no tension on the floss) between teeth pinch points. After you're past the pinch point, you can apply more pressure to the sides of teeth by increasing the tension of the floss and you're fine. There is enough friction between the pinch points to remove plaque there using this method and avoids breaking floss. BPA, PFAS, etc. today--more acronyms tomorrow for what's considered safe now (polyester, nylon, etc.). Also, it stands to reason that the gum tissue between teeth is very sensitive and highly absorbant, so any chemicals will be readily absorbed into the body. Add repeated long-term exposure and the fact that flossing can make your gums bleed (chemicals possibly being directly routed into the bloodstream), this floss makes the most sense. They do need to work on their quality control, as some batches appear to be weaker than others. Maybe someone will develop spider silk floss soon.

If you prefer floss that breaks apart frequently, look no further.
This is without a doubt the worst dental floss I have ever used. I purchased a second time thinking the first batch I got was just a dud. Turns out it’s just crappy floss. I have really straight teeth from braces that I had when I was young, and at age 40, I still wear my retainers about once a week. I kept debating on leaving a review but tonight was the last straw. While I was flossing it broke in between my back molars and when I tried to pull it out it just kept shredding apart until there was no way to grab it. I tried tweezers, another kind of floss, a flosser, fishing line, and even tried wedging a toothpick to get it out. I finally gave in and had to call my mother to bring me over a floss threader to get it out. I had really high hopes for this “clean” floss but needless to say I’m done, it’s terrible and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Don’t even bother if you have any teeth that are even remotely tight. It’s so fragile and breaks so often that you waste so much of it by the time you’re done flossing. It’s not worth the stress it causes.

Breaks easily!
I bought the Radius dental floss awhile ago and liked it. I finished using my previous order a few months ago and reordered. Unfortunately, I'm not having good luck with the new order. I don't know if my teeth are spaced more tightly than most people but every other time I try to use this floss, it ends up breaking and getting stuck in my teeth. It just took me 10 minutes to get the most recent piece out. Not sure what changed in the product recently but, at least for me, it isn't a good change.

Don't believe the negative reviews.
I was hesitant to buy this floss at first and I normally never wrote reviews but after using it I was dumbfounded at all the negative reviews. I have used every brand of floss imaginable in my life and all the Oral B and other popular brands are nowhere near as strong as this floss. Most of the negative reviews say it breaks easily. That is malarkey lol. They must have some messed up teeth as mine are definitely not the straightest and this floss very rarely if ever breaks on me. If it does its because I'm using it at a weird angle by mistake. The worst part about popular floss brands are even when it doesn't break it starts to shred. The reason I wanted to switch to a natural floss if the articles about the huge amount of microplastics found in plastic nylon floss. So take it from someone who has actually purchased it and is using it correctly that this floss is as good as it gets. Ps. Don't fall for the all natural label they put on all the floss stick brands. The stick itself is the only part that is natural or made of recycled materials. The actual floss is still nylon. So if you want a brand that reduces your microplastic exposure and is biodegradable you have found it here.

Once excellent, now is crap
If you're wondering about the mixed reviews for this floss, it's because it used to be awesome - exactly the right thickness, grabs food easily from between the teeth, and feels real not synthetic. However the last couple batches I got have been very bad, some too thin and break easily, some too thick and are hard to wedge in between my teeth. The last batch I got was the worst - both too thick it hurts your teeth and also breaks 2-3 times as you try to use it. I'm sad that my old batch is running out because it's excellent in every way whereas the new batch is absolute crap. I don't know where the inconsistency comes from but I can only assume the production process has gone downhill and that you have to judge by what I've seen recently, which would be zero stars. But still I'll give 3 stars for the memory of the best floss there ever was.

Not for tightly spaced teeth
Great brand, clean product. I love that it’s in a cardboard type container and does not contain plastic. 4 out of 5 stars because I can’t use it. It doesn’t have enough wax coating to allow it to slide between my teeth. It takes more force than I’ve ever used with any other type of floss or product- so much that it breaks the floss and / or causes my gums to bleed ( which they also have never done before). If they made a new type with more or different wax I would try it again. Beware if your teeth are tightly spaced.

I used to love this floss
I used to love this floss. I always buy the 3 pack when I am start my last box and this time the floss was markedly different. The floss itself was thicker, to the point that I was not able to get it between many of my teeth. It also was not correctly fed through the hole on the top that the floss was supposed to come out of, no big deal, but when I went to open up the box to feed it through I noticed the both sides are taped shut with plastic tape even though the box still says that it uses plastic free packaging. The floss also keeps tangling up on the spool inside so every use I have to open the box up to unspool enough to use. All of this was such a marked difference in quality that I am wondering if I have gotten a counterfeit product. Of course since I order this ahead of time so I never run out I have missed the return window.

This is the best floss I have used. The fibre is soft, non-abrasive and picks up food stuck between teeth very effectively. The length is ample and the paper packaging is novel. Only con is that the paper packaging needs to be handled carefully, otherwise it can get squashed in a travel bag and the string entangled.

Está demasiado grueso y me duelen los dientes. Por lo demás está bien

Works better than other silk flosses I've tried. There's so much in one that it doesn't seem to ever run out. The wheel of this package could be a bit better though.

I have bought two packs of these now. You get 6x boxes for this one purchase, each box contains 30metres. So 180metres all up. I am chemicaly sensitive so can not have fragrance of any kind. This is the only zero fragrance floss I have found in the past 10years and I tolerate it fine. It is not as strong as plastic fantastic floss but it's a natural product. It will brake if you try to use the same spot twice, so make sure you don't overuse each section of the silk string. Occasionally it will get stuck between a tooth (usually one that has a filling), it helps if once you have it inbetween the teeth that you don't try to pull it up and out the same way, just pull one side of it all the way out between the side of that tooth so there is less chance of it snaging/snapping or ripping. I highly recommend it for anyone with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. Or anyone with gums sensitive to all the chemicals in normal floss. I hope this was helpful
