Let there be light
Bought this for my larder as there was no light. There is a plug hole though, so this is ideal. Just put up a hook in the ceiling and hooks on the edges of the shelves to keep the cord out of the way. Just the right length and so easy to do

Simple and effective light unit
There's nothing too technical about this, but it does exactly what I wanted it for. No complaints.

Somewhat disappointing
Looks okay, cord frays easily. Like other commenters, couldn't undo the shade ring, tried using grips but it shattered before it undid. Wouldn't have been a problem for my project but the shade ring is also the thread for the bulb, rendering the entire bulb holder end useless. There's a reason this is so cheap.
