Authentic flavor!
This is my go-to tamarind concentrate. The flavor is deep, tangy, and well balanced—just like fresh tamarind without the hassle of soaking and straining. Works for pad
Not quite as sour/sweet as i like so it took a little more to achieve the desired results flavor wise, so i had to use more than normal. It’s good though. 2 batches of pad, everyone liked it, makes good candy also. When received i expected a light mess, found no leaks, wider lip on the tub makes a difference with the seal. Will buy again when i need more. Just one thing, i noticed some light crunch in the concentrate, possibly seed or shell fragments. Pour it through a strainer.

Used to season Thai curry paste
We bought this to compliment some curry paste that we purchased. It does a great job at bringing in that unique sweet and sour flavor profile. We had tried just using sugar and lime, but this just adds the right amount of tartness right away with just a tablespoon or so. We are satisfied with it!

Good for pad thai sauce, not too sour.
There was no expiration date but the product was alright in terms of taste and consistency. You do have to strain before consuming, to rid the tiny granules. I made pad thai sauce equal parts thai sugar, fish sauce, and this tamarind concentrate. It was very easy to lightly boil altogether. I might buy again if I am needing something last minute.
