About 3 years ago I accidentally dropped a large chefs knife into the dishwasher basket and it broke the little plastic mesh. Ever since then it's been Russian roulette which of the little compartments is the damaged one.Of course, I could have marked it somehow with a good old sharpie, or put something in to stop it being used but the problem didn't last long enough each time for me to get round to fixing.If you have a similar problem you know how annoying it is when a dirty knife or fork falls through the basket, you either have to pick it up by the dirty bit, or if you miss it it'll jam the rotor which moves the water.In a moment of madness I actually decided to fix the problem and buy a new basket. It's annoyingly cheap and such good quality, I couldn't tell the difference from the original Bosch one. I didn't have much hope, but it really is well made and almost identical, there's no obvious difference, and if there was you won't notice it when it's in the dishwasher. Same number of compartments, exactly the same size and spacing, it fits perfectly.I'd have no hesitation in recommending this, great little replacement basket.

The basket looks good and fits well, however the quality is poor, only had 10 weeks and it has 3 holes in the bottom.Do not buy

This basket was described as fitting many makes of dishwasher including Indesit but I was not sure it would fit my model. I measured the existing basket and it was virtually the same. The item arrived with the basket lids and handle not attached. I found it extremely difficult to fit the handle but managed it in the end. Seems slightly inferior to the official basket - the basket lid sliders are awkward and not as smooth in the slot which is slightly distorted. But I rarely use the lids. On the whole, I am very pleased with the purchase as it was half the price of the basket from Indesit. Have given 4 stars for durability solely as I am unable to comment on this until it has been in use but I am sure it will be fine. I would definitely buy again if I need one. The plastic becomes brittle over time and holes appear in the bottom and the cutlery pokes through which stops the arm from spinning.

Very good quality and fits well into a hotpoint dishwasher

On the first use, when lifting out of the dishwasher fully laden, the handle came off and the basket fell to the floor. Most of the sections are now broken, but we can still fit a couple of things in the unbroken parts. However the unbroken parts are gradually breaking now a few months in as it's not very good quality. I wouldn't recommend this item unless you enjoy frustration.

Bought this because the bottom of our basket was disintegrating. It appears to be identical to what we assume is the original (came with house). Only time will tell how long it will last, but assuming it reaches the same 5 years or so the original appears to have achieved then will be happy.

I bought this for additional cutlery capacity and have used it for four years so it does the job. However, compared to the original basket the plastic is cheap and brittle, making it less sturdy. One or two bars at the bottom of the basket have indeed snapped so items can slip through a little, whereas the genuine basket is holding up perfectly.

Replacement due to damage to base causing cutlery to fall through. Item is almost identical to original.

Calidad material

Il cestello della nostra lavastoviglie ormai si era bucato in più punti quindi lo abbiamo sostituito con questo e ci stiamo trovando benissimo! Esteticamente risulta essere più grezza la plastica, come se non fosse stato rifinito al 100%, ma poco importa perché é robusto e resistente, si incastra perfettamente e quindi fa il suo dovere.

Leider war unser Besteckkasten für die Spülmaschine schnell kaputt gegangen. Der neue Korb ist robuster,hoffen das er länger hält als nur zwei Jahre.
