looks really good.
(Update): Don't place any heavy plants on this shelf. I put a succulent on the top because it was too tall and a few days later my son found it toppled over right in the walk way. The shelf just drooped down to one side and the plant slid off because there are no vertical pieces of wood to stop the shelves from falling to one side or the other. (Previous review when I first received shelf): Looks good. Pretty easy to put together. All the tools needed are included. I put it together all by myself in about 45 mins., with one break; and my wrists are not strong at all. It seems sturdy. One of the holes is a little off, so one of the shelves is slightly tilted. I don't think it's not enough for plants to slide, so I won't worry about it. I won't let it upset my OCD. I won't think about it sitting out there with that one ever so slightly crooked shelf. Is very pretty though. I like it. I added pictures.

Great
Idk how this got any bad reviews. This thing is awesome. Easy to assemble. Sturdy. My plants look fantastic. I was short a couple flat washers but that was no big deal at all. EDIT: I loved that first stand so much i ended up ordering the 6 tier one. Its nice but im concerned about how strong it will be. One of the vertical supports looks like its cracked. I guess ill have to put my smaller plants on it and hope for the best.

Smaller than it looks but would still work if I had been able to get together.
Amazon worked with me to correct my issued. They sent me the instructions, with those it went together correctly. Still missing some screws and bolts which they are sending to me. I am quite pleased with all their help and their resolution to this . it is a nice stand. Not as sturdy as I thought but it will be great. It had no instructions with it as stated. The Allen wrench needed to tighten every thing was not included. The holes for two of the shelves do no match up so when I made it sort of fit, shelf was tipped up. I am going to take it apart and nail it together. I hope that will work because I still think it will work good for my plants I need to bring inside. I also found that it was short 2 of the screws and bolts needed to assemble. If I can figure out how to make this work it may be nice. For the price, it is not worth it. I guess no body in China needs instructions or tools. I think I will pull out a few nails and make it work.

sturdy and pretty
Quite happy with this stand. The design is both functional and pretty. From appearance (texture and color) at least the wood looks well-made, and the stand is quite sturdy once the screws are all tightened up. For those who may lack strength as I do, you probably need to find a strong person to tighten it up. It took me about an hour to assemble it, mainly due to my lack of understanding of how to put the screw pieces together (the instruction does stress that they should be in the right order and shows the order in the picture, but I'm just not too smart with this kind of stuff). I figured it out only after some google search and here is a kind of illustration of the order shown in the image instruction: the screw, wood (hole), the full ring (the official name seems to be washer), the C-shaped ring, and finally the nut. There is a little scratch on the top piece, but I can tolerate that since the whole thing is great.

Order of bolts and washers
In case anyone needs this detail...I had to look it up. If it all stays put with my plants, I'll increase my rating stars. The round piece that's partly detached is likely a lock washer (sometimes called a star washer or split lock washer). Here's the correct assembly order: Bolt Assembly Sequence (from bottom to top): 1. Flat washer – slides onto the bolt first 2.Lock washer (the round piece that looks partly detached) – goes on next to prevent loosening 3.Wood – thread the bolt through the hole 4.Another flat washer – on the opposite side 5.Nut – thread on and tighten firmly The lock washer should stay somewhat loose-looking even when tightened—that's normal and how it prevents the bolt from vibrating loose.

Wouldn’t hold large planters
Took my husband and I around 30 minutes to put together. Love the way it looks. I have it in my dining room window where I have a wide windowsill. My plants look great

Great buy!
My husband said assembly was easy and I love the look of the wood. The levels are even and it feels sturdy so far. I'm waiting for my table to get here before I add my plants. I think its really cute. It even came with gloves and a little gardening set.
