Excellent Product. Problem Solver
Used to support failing fiberglass shower unit. Previous owner/builder didn't support the floor but I think he weighed about 120 lbs. After 5 years of residence and use I noticed little cracks appearing in it, and an odd smell... Drilled 3 inch holes in side to inspect the area underneath and it was full of wet rat nest material. Cleaned it out and sprayed this foam in it carefully, after drilling 3/8 inch holes along the cracks. When foam welled out of the 3/8 inch holes I figured I had enough in there. Once dried I caulked the holes. So far it's working. No leaking. This is all a temporary expedient. I needed a quick cheap fix until I get around to re-doing the entire bathroom.

Perfect for reef aquarium
I have been using aquarium cement for putting rocks together for my reef aquarium but it was always a pain and it didn't really hold well together. This foam is completely different beast. It holds the rocks to get us so well you can grab it by one of the rocks and everything else stays securely attached to it. The strength is much better than the usual insulation foam in the spray can you can buy at Lowe's. The yellow kind.A strong word of warning though, this black foam is really nothing like the usual yellow one. When you work with it, absolutely use disposable gloves because this thing sticks to your skin so well that it's took me more than a week to get it rid off my skin. And it's more that my old skin just peel off after a week, not that the foam would peel off the skin. On the other hand it's the testament how well this thing sticks. Which also means you don't have to use too much of it on the rock. It will expand quite a bit and if you put too much it will just get out everywhere.

pretty good
I used this to make a background and add structure to my bioactive tanks. the foam expands a LOT so a little goes a long way. it has discolored over time, and fyi its not waterproof so you can't use it to seal the water feature or anything. it doesn't stick well to plastic, but it sticks pretty well to glass.

Great stuff!
Purchased this to help create some living art. I’ve never worked with this before but read some reviews and took their tips.It comes out slightly smooth from the nozzle. I found a couple times it would “spit” maybe from an air bubble?!If you’re going to store it and use it later, don’t clean the nozzle off. Let it dry and it will create a cap at the end. When you’re ready to use it again just break off that “cap” and it’s wet and ready to use again (that’s what she said). If you accidentally get some in a place you didn’t intend, here’s a couple tips: If you let it dry it will break off but it may be a struggle if it’s a lot. There will be residue left behind where you can scrape it off. If you Let it dry a little where it’s slightly tacky then wipe it, you’ll get a smudge mark, BUT grab yourself some acetone nail polish remover and it comes off very easily. The nail polish remover will also work when it’s dried but you will need to scrape it a little. Btw I’m suggesting this tip on glass…used common sense on any other surface. This stuff is strong and will hold very well. I use it to hold rocks vertically. It’s not instant though, it will be soft and messy until it starts to dry. But once dried, your stuff is not moving!

Plant safe for paladarium
Used to create a paladarium. Holds up very well. Safe for my plants. Expands wonderfully to create holes for plant roots. Easy to use.

Burgundy, the new black
This stuff works pretty good and Ive bought this many times. However, my last order of 2 cans of “black” foam were both a burgundy color. I had hoped something changed and it would turn black after curing but it has fully cured and is still the same color.

Works Great!
Recently installed a small water feature in backyard-we needed something to seal the rocks to prevent the water from leaking out of the spillway. This fit the bill! Easy to use after reading the instructions, and blends right in so hardly noticeable. Really happy with buying this. And even after a full year of heat, snow, etc it’s still working. Would definitely buy again.
