Good product, easy to install and will save you money.
I installed this kit in my dryer a couple of months ago and right of the bat noticed my dryer is drying clothes much faster than it has for several months even before the heating element stopped getting hot. Soo far it continues to work great. I would highly recommend this kit if your dryer stops hearing up or even is taking longer to dry clothes than it used to. I recommend first ensuring that your dryer is not closed up with lint as that is a more common issue and very dangerous. But if it is flowing air freely then this kit is pretty easy to install with help of YouTube and doing it yourself will save you a lot of money.

Easy to install and works
Few things more frustrating than having a dryer but still having to go to a Laundry Mat. That is where I found myself when I pulled my clothes from my dryer still wet.Since everything else in the dryer was working, I assumed it was my heating element went out. I removed and was able to find the correct part on line. It took about a week to deliver. I followed the install videos on YouTube and next thing you know "Bob's Your Uncle" I was back in business. No more Laundry Mat more me.I would highly recommend this part …. easy to install and working like new. The biggest pain in the touché was all of the screws on my own dryer and reconnecting the venting in the very small space. No of this the fault of the part.

So far so good; great price
Seems as well built as the original. Has extra parts to adapt to your particular model. Can't beat the price. Only had it two months. UPDATE: Working fine after 2 years. So glad I did this! Easy to do and will make you feel like you're a repair Jedi even though you're not.

Fast, good and cheap fix
The whole kit worked great on my Whirlpool dryer. My only small complaint is that I had to do some slight modifications to add the jump wire on the thermostat seeing how the original factory one was a permanent metal strip. But even this is reasonable considering the universal application of these parts.

Great price!!!!
Well while visiting family during Christmas. My sister in law mentioned her dryer isn’t working. So when my husband and I checked her place out. I told my husband to figure out what’s going on with the dryer come to find out this part was shot. My sister in laws husband looked at different places to see how much it would cost to fix and the lowest he seen was close to $50. They needed something fast anyways I told my husband listen check amazon and see and guess what I was right so we just ended up getting this part for them. They received this product with 4-5 days not bad considering it was around Christmas. She said it works amazingly and is very happy!!!

Easy to do this on your own
Seriously don't be afraid to YouTube this and fix it yourself it was not difficult to get this done. As long as you have a multi head screwdriver you will be good to go. You might also want a show vac for all the lint that will be in the back.

Works fine - thermostats could be more clearly marked, and spade fitting had to be installed by hand.
EDIT - I'm lowering my rating to a one star because the unit stopped working after 3 months of regular use. I took the back end off, disappointed that I was again having to troubleshoot the dryer, only to find that there was 220V power to the heater and both thermostats were closed. Hmmmmm. I then wired the line voltage directly to the heater coil and . . . it came on and got hot. So if there is power to the heater, the thermostats are closed, and the heater element is not broken, the only thing left is wires and connections to and from the thermostats and heater. Sure enough, the "spade" connector that is supplied with the unit seemed loose on the run thermostat. I used my fingers to tighter the curled grabbing portion of the female connecter that slips over the spade. I also bent it inward, away from the back cover. I then fired up the unit and . . . it worked. I pressed on the connector wire with slight pressure and a very faint blue arcing was noticeable where the spade merges with the run thermostat. Not good. Cheap metal, poor connections. I have done hundreds, if not thousands, of home repairs in my life, and this unit is sub par quality - how much more money would it have cost to provide a part that matches exactly, with tight fittings that don't loosen? 1 star - I haven't researched OEM yet, but, assuming it's available, that's what I'll be doing. If not available, time for a new drying. Just isn't worth risking a fire. This unit was a direct replacement for the blown heater on my 13 year old Roper dryer. I'd give it 5 star except there were two issues that I thought were significant enough to warrant a downgrade.1st, it wasn't perfectly clear to me which thermostat was which. The two coming out looked different. The two that came with this kit looked the same. There were some markings, but not as clear as they could have been. Further, the thermostats are the same size and can be installed either way. If you install them backwards, the overrun thermostat (high limit, non-resettable cut out) will be at the bottom, where the air comes in, and the run thermostat will be at the top, where the air is going into the clothes area. The result of that is PROBABLY that the run thermostat will trip more easily, and the air entering the dryer won't be as hot. You also won't have overtemp protection if the top end is running hot. I'm unsure, but this seems like a safety issue. Should be clearly marked, and, preferably, incapable of being installed in switched positions.2nd issue - the "spade" fitting that came with this was the wrong size, but they included the correct size. Problem is, I had to cut off the wrong one, strip the wire, and crimp on the correct spade fitting. Not going to lie, that makes me uncomfortable.I'll gladly pay an extra few bucks to get a unit that comes ready to install, matched to my machine, and with thermostats properly marked.Does it work? Yes. Dryer is as hot as ever.If you're reading this and you are considering buying JUST the heater, don't do it. If your heater blew out it may well be because your run thermostat is running too hot, but not hot enough to trip the high limit. If you replace only the heater, it will run hot and may burn out in a few months.ALWAYS replace both the run thermostat and the high limit cut out when you replace the heater.

Great price! Great product!
Fitted my dryer perfectly. Found out the timer needed to be replaced as well. It’s working better than before. Doesn’t take the entire cycle to dry a load.
