This book is really good! As a FNP student in my clinicals
This book is really good! As a FNP student in my clinicals, it helps to have a book with some summarized tips/notes about common chronic diseases. My only complaint is that there is not a section for COPD. That seems a little odd to me because COPD is a HUGE part of Primary care. Other than that, it has been a helpful resource.

Great book for identifying and treating the most common chronic ...
As an FNP student, you could tell this was written by an MD, however that is who I'd rather learn from. The medical side. Great book for identifying and treating the most common chronic diseases according to medical standards. I would not recommend if you are approaching medicine through an alternative/holistic approach.

DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK IN ITS DIGITAL FORM UNLESS YOU HAVE THE VISION OF A BAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The content of this book may be fine but the quality of printing is poor: The book reads like a document that is eking out the last drops of ink of a toner from a 1987 printer: letters lack definition, are faintly printed, etc, Do not buy this book as a digital product. There are parts that are illegible which is particularly galling for a book costing 75$ . Making matters worse, it is virtually impossible to level a complaint to Amazon on a digital product. what a rip off.

Great text for primary care
For those working in primary care of adults/gero, this is a great book. It incorporates recent statics as well as evidence based techniques for managing patients with chronic diseases in the most effective ways possible. I've read this book front to back twice now and both times discovered things that I didn't know before or found new techniques to implement in my practice.

Very easy read compared to most texts!
I spend a lot of time reading textbooks and this book is actually a pleasure to read. It is very user friendly and makes the content accessible. Very straight forward and refreshing.

CDM
The CDM text is just what I was looking for to accompany our Clerkship course in Family Medicine. The Kindle version is awkward but portable.I will recommend the book for students.
