I appreciate that it was built properly appears to be a very high-quality! The last two that I bought we’re not as good quality, and I am hoping that this one will last quite a bit longer!

Easy to use. Limited instructions, but it's pretty simple...just attach the hose and turn on. Keep away from dirt, where mud could clog the holes.I like it for several reasons:1. Construction is metal.2. Easy to use. Better than standing with a hose. You can just relax and watch it go!3. It has a setting which allows the stream to stop midway. (Good for tight spaces where you want to keep water from walls or fences.)4. The best reason for me is THAT THE HUMMINGBIRDS LOVE IT! Birds need fresh water on hot days. It's great if you have a running fountain in the garden that's shallow enough for birds to stand in. But if not, this might be the solution to give birds the water they need!With the water turned on only half way it's a gentle and LOW stream.Had it on early in the morning just after sunrise. It was like a gentle rain falling upon a lilac. A hummingbird just sat there and enjoyed a nice shower! Later, I saw one fly directly through the water stream. So excited to see the birds enjoying it also! (It was the main reason I bought it, besides watering the plants well.) Very pleased with it!

Sprinkler worked great for a few months. Then it started not working properly. Contacted Melnor and they are sending me replacement parts. Prompt response time and no hassle! Glad to see a company stand behind their products!

Made of metal and seems durable.

I had a Melnor Oscillating Sprinkler that lasted MANY years. Finally after a LOT of use in our 10,000 SF gardens, it started leaking. I was surprised to find they still made the same model, which we quickly bought after only seeing junk at local stores.The quick connect was missing from our box. Only half of it was included. That was the only drawback.

I’ve got a single functioning one out of 4 total that I’ve bought (first of two broke, then another one broke after I bought it to replace the first broken one… then it broke), and had to send the last one back after I bought it as a replacement… the replacement arrived (as a clearly damaged return) and fell apart while trying to use it the first time. Easy to use, but breaks way too easily. Thankfully it’s fairly cheap but your mileage may vary. I don’t think I’ll be attempting any more replacements and plan to try something else with only a 25% success rate.

Like the sturdiness. The adjustment knob. for the sprinkler pattern is rather finicky and takes some getting used to.
