Adcraft CYL-SS Stainless Steel Silverware Cylinder

.Adcraft vs. Winco. And the winner is..?Bought the Adcraft product at $7.19. Liked it.Went back to buy more and the price was increased significantly to $8.55 (currently $10.97 w/free shipping).Double checked alternatives and found Winco at $6.19 (currently $9.31 Prime)(These price increases are obnoxious and make the products too expensive. Consider waiting for them to fluctuate down. When they do, we'll buy more of the less expensive of the two.)Liked Winco's better price, but was not sure of the quality. Bought both (see side-by-side pictures, Adcraft on left & bottom).These are both quality, commercial grade products and very similar in design. Differences are detailed below.WINCO----------Ever so slightly shorter and more tapered.Holes are bigger and spaced better, both on the sides and the bottom.Total holes on the side = 60, bottom = 21.Better finish, no burrs on the inside of the holes.Weight = 4.2 ouncesInside diameter at rim = 3.9"Inside depth at rim = 5.0"Outside height at rim = 5.2"Adcraft----------Total holes on the side = 72, bottom = 21.Weight = 5.1 ouncesOverall good finish, but small visible burrs on the top side of the holes inside the cylinder.Inside diameter at rim = 3.9"Inside depth at rim = 5.1"Outside height at rim = 5.4"Both products are performing as expected and we are finding them useful for washing, drying and storing flatware and small-mid-sized utensils (large, heavy utensils will knock them over, say large, commercial size stainless spoons).We'll update this review if the products perform materially differently over time. Nice heavy weight stainless steel utensil cup - we use ours in our dish drying rack for drying utensils and it is heavy enough to stay upright when adding forks/spoons etc. Nice size and weight - good quality stainless steel - thus far no sign of rust or any other problems of that type - The only caution is that the inside edge of the holes (inside the cup) can be very sharp as my knuckles found out when I was washing the item out before use. The outside surfaces were no problem just inside the cup area. Otherwise a great product.

Pretty good, serves my need well -- I put misc utensils in it so in my dishwasher so they don't fall through the rack. And I use the second one for a really great tooth-brush holder :-)The metal seems to be high quality stainless steel so I am not worried about rust. But it is not all that thick/strong -- just fine for everyday home use, but probably not adequate for commercial/restaurant bashing and smashing.

Good sturdy silverware cylinders, easy to clean and look good. I bought three, one for forks, another for spoons and the third for knives. Obviously they are intended for restaurants or cafeterias but we use them in my family because they are more practical and convenient for the amount of children we have and the number of utensils we need on hand on daily basis (snacks and meals). We keep them close to the table if not on the table so every child can get what they need without stepping into the kitchen where they may get in the way of my wife who is busy cooking/preparing meals.

Satisfied. I do have one minor criticism, though. I wish it was 1/4 inch shorter. This would make it easier to remove the fork or spoon. This is a minor complaint and overall I think it is a good product.

I bought to use at a bridal show to hold pens but forgot it the day of the show. So then I used it for silverware but it made the silverware taste like "metal" if that makes any sense. Now I will use it for storing something else. It's nicely made and thick. Fast shipping.

Rust already formed on the underside when I received the item, perhaps because the coating got scratches. I'm still using it because the inside is still good. I'll lower ratings even more if I see more rust later.This item was made for a holder like  COMMERCIAL 4-HOLE STAINLESS STEEL CYLINDER FLATWARE SILVERWARE UTENSIL HOLDER ORGANIZER CADDY . Without the holder to support, it would flip over too easily.

Good for storing your extra Silverware after it is dried in your sink rack.Kind of thin & I do wish it was weighted in the bottom....I may find a nice flat rock to put on the bottom.
