Easy install, bad manual
I read several reviews about the door kit not fitting the drawer. This is not true the fitting is good and easy, however the manual is terrible, useless actually. The kit comes with 2 one page manual but both are quite useless. One of them shows which screws go in which piece which was the only thing useful in the manual. Here's an alternative manual hopefully it will help someone:1. Install the bin rail in the cupboard first and take the bin out2. Pull the basket rail out 5" (same as you do to open the drawer) take the L shaped brackets and the 4 screws that come with nuts.- The short side of the L should face down- The L is mounted on the inside of the rails you just pulled out- Each L takes 2 screws one at rail hole #1 and the other at #4 (there are only 4 holes so it doesn't matter from which side you start the count)- The screw head fits on the inside and the nut on the outside- Fasten the washers3. Take the other two brackets each has one face loaded with holes and another with just two grooves. The multi holed face would eventually screw to your cabinet door. The other face is screwed to the L bracket.- Now a tricky part, the bag with 4 screws and plastic washers should only be used for relatively wide cabinet doors, in most cases these screws and plastic washers are redundant- Loosely screw 2 screws into the vertical leg of the L bracket, the heads of the screws should be facing outside- Take the grooved bracket and notice a 90 degree groove and a straight groove, with the straight groove point down and the multiple hole face of the bracket pointing away from the bin- Slip the brackets into the grooves- Lightly fasten so that there is a bit of friction between the two brackets- Close the drawer so that the face of bracket with many holes will be flash with cupboard frame- Now pull and push on the brackets until they are both flush with the cupboard frame- Place the 4 stickers on the multi holed bracket and stick your cupboard door to the bracket and ensure good alignment between this door and neighboring doors- Gently pull on the door (the stickers will hold) and using the 4 small wood screws screw the door into placeHope this helps someone.- Take two holed side of the bracket and place

Works well saved money over units that included door mount kit
This saved me about $50 by adding the door mount kit rather than buying the unit with door mount. Install instruction makes this a lot harder then it needs to be. Heres how I did it took about 20 minutes:Assemble the unit with door mount prior to installing in the cabinet.Align the unit in the cabinet so door brackets are flush with cabinet face frame if your doors are NOT inset in frame otherwise back distance width of the door. Mark screw holes.Drill starter holes in the base cabinet.Extend slides so you can use levers to remove the frame from slides.Secure the slides to base cabinet. Replace frame into slidesCreate a paper template of the door. Make folds in the center and at intersections of the door frame and panel.Mark center of the cabinet with painters tape or pencilPlace paper template aligned to where the door should be positioned and mark screw slots on the template.Measure marks and ensure they are symmetrical correct any discretionsTransfer screw slot marks to back of the door and make pilot holes in the center of slots.Remove door brackets from the frame by loosening four screwsInstall door brackets on the doorAttach door to the unit frame and align tightening screws.

Poor Quality Control Required Field Modifications to Make it Work
***UPDATE*** May 2018Flimsiness confirmed. This month, one of the wheels broke off the slide. This completes the trifecta of lame product quality control. Steer clear.Original Review:The allure a DIY cabinet-door pullout overcame my reluctance to pay close to $80 for both parts that are required to make this system work. I installed the drawer slide portion of this combo first, with very few issues, aside from the fact that the directions are poor. We're all getting used to that with products these days, aren't we?The âdrawerâ slide for the cabinet pullout gets installed first, then mates up with this kit by way of four holes in the supplied brackets that line up with holes in the drawer slide you already installed. This where my trouble began...If you look at the photos, youâll note that the brackets, that only go into the slide one way, do not line up with the holes that exist in the slide. You cannot attach them on the other side because the roller mechanism is in the way and the âdrawerâ would not operate. The holes were drilled offset by about 3/32â and it made it impossible to align the screw, slide, bracket, and nut. There are two ways to fix this (okay, maybe a third if you just send it back); Drill out the holes in the bracket much wider (probably weakening the bracket), or grind down the bottom edge of the bracket to allow it to sit farther down into the slide. I opted for this because I have a bench grinder. The holes lined up after removing about 1/16â material and the assembly could continue.Itâs difficult to express how frustrating it can be when you are trying to install a very expensive set of painted thin metal angle brackets and the holes donât line up because of poor workmanship. You are paying for the ease of home installation and, in this case, not getting it.There seems to be only one company doing this type of âcabinet utility upgradesâ on Amazon. I think I will continue my quest and find something of higher quality. Itâs not like they are giving these things away in the first place.Overall, the whole installation feels cheap and about the level youâd expect in the cabinet drawers of a mid-priced recreational vehicle. Very âparticle-boardâ quality. For this price, you should be able to find something much better.
