Empire Magic Cut and Restore Rope - 25' of White Rope with Instructions

My nieces and nephews know me as the 'magic' uncle. I always have a special magic trick ready for them whenever they visit and I was getting tired of the typical card tricks. I picked this up and the kids loved it. The cord itself is great - soft, compliant, and easy to work with. It was sturdy but still easy to cut and the generous amount was a bonus! I ended up using this to perform a special handfasting ceremony for my sister. She asked me to officiate her wedding so I became an ordained Jedi Master (thanks interwebs!!!) and wanted to do something special. I used a standard trick to 'cut the rope in half' then used the tied rope to 'bind their lives together'. Once the handfasting portion was done, I had them remove the knot to show the rope, and their lives, were now bound together. Yeah, there were tears.Anyhow - love the stuff and I am sure I'll be ordering more soon!

Just be careful when removing the label that is wrapped around the rope -- the instructions are printed on the inside of this label, and if you don't remove it at the tape line, you'll probably cut/tear right through the middle of the directions. Obviously you can still put them back together, so the product doesn't lose any stars over this, but it's something to be wary of.The rope itself if soft and easy to cut, perfect for the Cut and Restore trick, and you get enough that you'll be able to perform the illusion many times.

It is just a plain rope. You can not restore it. The trick is that you cut a piece of the rope while holding another piece of intact rope in your hand. Since you are cutting this rope up, you will eventually need more rope.

When doing rope tricks you really need a rope that doesn't unravel. The rope itself is soft and works well doing tricks, just have a roll of tape around because it frays bad.

A well Price skane of magicians rope. It's bright white, strong and enough length to have many props for rope tricks. It can also be gimmicked if so desired. It's thick too, so it can be easily seen on a stage.

This is just rope. You can use it for magic tricks (which is why I bought it) or for just about anything a rope is needed for.

We've had a lot of fun by following the instructions in the package, which is essentially what you are buying - rope trick instructions that can be used with almost any cutable rope. If you can get the technique from a magic book or elsewhere, you would probably save some money by just buying a similar rope at a hardware store. That said, its still a neat trick.
