Hmm... there was one review on here that was spot on. I could almost copy theirs. I read their review AFTER I purchased this of course.... After breaking my screen (4 times now), I wanted something to protect it because I'm not ready to purchase another phone. When I first saw the cover, I wanted something that would not be "flush" with the screen but would give the screen the "sunken" effect. I thought the price was right, so I clicked purchase. What could be the big deal with purchasing a case...The good news is it came in about two days. The day after I fixed my screen, so the timing was perfect. The case looked very sturdy, there was a cleansing cloth, an earplug adapter, (not sure why, but oh well), and one of those flimsy clear screen covers that don't really do any real protection in my opinion. Okay...The bad news is, it took me about 20 minutes to get the case on. Let me back up...I thought the case was solid black, which is how it appears to be in the photo, but the back is clear, with the hard black plastic around the rim of the case. Ok, not a huge deal, it's actually kind of cool and has their Lifeproof logo embossed on it. Whatever. Then I read the insert and didn't realize it was a waterproof case. Well, I didn't really need this feature because I'm not silly enough to take my phone near open water. Again, no big deal, I just needed something to protect my screen in case I drop my phone again, which will most likely happen. When I first put in my phone, it didn't seem to fit and I thought, oh no, I just fixed my screen and now I have to order something else, wait for a few more days without protection for my phone. It just would not snap together easily at all. I took my phone out and made sure that the pieces fit properly without the phone. They did and snapped fairly easily. I set my phone in the back part of the cover and saw that the groove was around the phone, but still didn't see what the issue may have been. I could only get one side to snap. I turned the phone over on its face, with the case ready to be locked into position, prayed I would not crack my screen after waiting 6 days for the part and fixing it. I had to use the heel of the my hand to close it all the way around. This is NOT what I wanted to do at all. But it worked. I am a bit nervous to see how long it will take if I need to get the damn thing off. The insert said to use a coin. I snapped the USB cover in place and remembered I needed to charge my phone. I had to get a small screwdriver to unsnap that part. Now I just leave it loose and I'm debating just ripping it off. The frustrating thing so far is that the touch buttons (forgot what they are called) on either side of the home button are harder to access via fingertip. it may be easier with a stylus pen. thankfully I haven't dropped my phone yet, but on the insert, it basically says that if it's dropped above 6 1/2 feet whatever happens to your phone is on you. Since this was just $4.50, I may just order something else IF I need to take the cover off (I'm not fighting to put it back on and dread the thought of having to take it off). I haven't had any issues with hearing notifications, calls, etc. or anyone hearing me. I probably would not recommend this to anyone only because it took so long to put on, but all in all, I do think it will protect my phone well.

First of all, this thing is a BEAST!!! It will protect your S3 until the end of time! I got it because I only use my old S3 to sleep with the earbuds, and its original case finally gave up after being taken apart countless times over the years to remove the SD card to add songs (it hasn't read from the USB input for quite a while). It actually has several more cons than pros, but I still really like it.Pros:- You will have to work hard to damage the edges & back of your phone with this.- It says it's waterproof, but I haven't tested that.- Mine came with a screen protector & cleaning cloth.- The edges are black, but the back is clear. It makes for a very interesting look, and would've looked great back when I was using this as my main phone.Cons:- It's a 2-piece case, and trying to close it can take a LOT of force and patience. It sometimes feels like you're breaking it.- Trying to remove it requires prying it open at the bottom corners with a coin or a thick screwdriver (it even recommends using a coin in the instructions).- Trying to open the USB cover is EXTREMELY hard, and you have to put a huge amount of force on it, just under the home button. If you know that you're never going to worry about getting your phone wet, you might want to just break it off like I did to save future head & thumb aches.- Both of the bottom capacitive buttons are blocked a little. It's a bit of a pain if you're used to being able to use them with no problem.- The physical buttons, especially the home one which is recessed, are extremely hard to push. But that's to be expected with a thick case like this.- If you're using wireless charging like me, it sometimes blocks the signal, so you might want to just stick with charging it through the USB.- There's no kickstand, which isn't a problem for me, but some users won't be happy without one.All in all, I highly recommend this case. It's not perfect, but it's definitely worth the very low cost, and will protect your phone as long as you don't try smashing it with a hammer or running it over with a car.

Excellent case so far, haven't had any issues with people hearing me during calls or me hearing them. Voices are slightly more muffled than without the case but still I can understand them. Screen protector could be a couple mm wider to fill the full width between the edges. When playing music through the mono speaker on the phone I do hear slight buzzing like sound from the thin membrane vibrating but that's to be expected. The case is indeed waterproof bit I haven't had a chance to test with the actual phone in the case. In terms of removing the case from the phone it is not as difficult as people claim. That doesn't mean it is easy though. Overall worth the money spent.

Does what it says on the box,can be a little tricky to seal but once you get the knack its quite easy. Great investment if you go to beach or wet theme park rides,if you have a non waterproof phone then you must get one of these.

This is a Great case for my fathers phone perfectly and what a Great price.

Leaked and scratch proofing is rubbish. Sent it back. Don't bother.

Fast Fast delievery!! Insanely great product,,,,I bought this for my dad and it had one drawback....I had to poke holes in the waterproof membrane that sealed the earpiece from water,,,,it muffled sound when talking to someone on the phone,,I tried it and it was bad! But after taking out with knife 2 sec.. worked perfect,,,but no longer waterproof..oh well!!
