Nordic Lifting Leather Gym Gloves Men - Wrist Support for Weight Lifting

The gloves fit great, are comfortable and give great support. I use these gloves for Crossfit, mainly for the pull-up bar (Toes to bar), but I use them during my whole workout and as I mentioned, they give great wrist support and protect my palms well. After a couple of months of using these gloves, I noticed a small rip in the left thumb area, I do not know how the rip happened, but I reached out to Nordic and spoke (Via email) to an individual named Chad. I told him about the rip and attached a picture of the tear, he was very helpful, responded quickly and sent me a new pair of gloves immediately. (The tear was small and my mom just sewed it right back up for me and they are like brand new and have been holding up great and now I have an extra pair) I also mentioned to him that the size I ordered was a tiny bit too big, I told him I believe I ordered a large and needed a medium and he informed me that I had actually ordered a medium and if I would rather a small or still want a medium. I ordered the small and they fit better, thanks to Chad I ordered the right size. Be careful when ordering your size, I used the measurement chart and thought I would be a medium, but am really a small. They're a little bigger than you (or atleast I) would guess. Bottom line, great product and customer service. Great price for the quality of the product. I would recommend this purchase.

This is the first set of weight lifting gloves that I've purchased and can say the work the way they are supposed to! As I was a newbie to the gym, I was going without gloves and started to develop blisters underneath both my middle fingers (which is where my grip is centered I guess). As soon as I started going to the gym with these weight lifting gloves, that problem disappeared within a couple of weeks. Now, that might be the case with any gloves but I can only vouch for this one. They are comfortable and provide my wrists with ample support when I'm doing any activity that requires a grip. I've been using them about 2-4 times a week for the last couple months and they haven't shown any signs of breaking down. I was also reading up on some other gloves prior to purchasing these and noticed people were having problems with the dye coming off the gloves. I haven't experienced it myself with these gloves but will update people if I do. On a side note, I received multiple e-mails prior to even receiving these gloves to ensure me that they were on their way and that if there was anything they could do, to contact them. I didn't have a need to contact them but can tell if I ever did need anything with their products, they'd very likely back it. Can't say that about some of the other third party sellers on Amazon!

Good padding and snug fit but all kind of let down when the strap that wraps around the wrist split apart from the glove. Still serviceable and useable but doesn't say much for quality of this happens after 4 months or so of use. UPDATE: APR 2019 I thought I would revisit my previous review as I am now about to bin these gloves which I first bought January 2015. After the first four months the seam along the wrist became unstitched which from reading other people’s 1 star reviews appears to have been a common QC issue. (Hopefully now solved) I soldiered on with them with the split seam and did not expect them to last much longer. But here I am nearly 4.5 years later and only now about to say goodbye to them. As you can see from the photos included above the palms are now beginning to wear a bit thin. If I wanted to I suppose I could tape them up but I’m not that tight that I won’t stretch for a new pair. The initial issue with the seam on the wrist didn’t worsen and the gloves worked perfectly and were regularly used 3-4 times a week for the majority of the period. Some issues were when washed they were a bit stiff but would soon loosen up in the first workout. Also they did have a bit of a funky smell but this was solved with regular washing and having a fall back pair to swap these out for. To be fair to the Nordic guys they did try and get in touch with me but I never followed up. All in all after such longevity I can recommend them for VFM and durability definitely and if I didn’t have an issue with having to have them shipped here to Thailand where I now reside I would definitely get them again.

These gloves aren't cute...straight up; however, these are the best gloves I have ever had. Very thick, but do not constrict movement. I'm hoping they don't tear easily. Great for deadlifts or pull-ups. Better than my harbinger gloves for sure. My friends tried them on and are now purchasing them. UPDATE 9 months later: They lasted 9 months and now there are super torn around the fingers; the wrist strap still works well. My main issue is that you really have to air them out after each use or they smell awful. They started tearing at the 6-month mark, I waited until month 9 because I really wanted for them to at least last a year, but they were starting to become painful due to the fabric tears. I knocked the review down to three stars due to the fact that they didn't live up to the 1-year guarantee and they start to smell awful after a while...the kind of awful where it will make your hands smell bad if you don't wash them frequently. I kept having to wash them with dish soap in hope that the smell went away; toward month 9 I started to spray them with Lysol as well. I noticed the best way to keep them from smelling was to put them in the garage to dry after each use. HOWEVER, they were still extremely efficient and cushion really well; they lasted much longer than other gloves I have used. I just bought these again and I'm hoping that I can make them reach up to a year. LITTLE OVER A YEAR LATER: Company read my review and sent me a replacement pair since they didn’t last a year! Super nice and kind of them! Def going to keep buying this product.

When looking to purchase weight lifting gloves I was looking for a product that would provide wrist support and protect my hands from developing calluses, these gloves delivered on both fronts. They are sturdy and well made, I have been using them for a few weeks now and they have definitely prevented callus development. At first I thought the wrist wraps were too long especially since I have small wrists, but after a few uses this was no longer an issue as I appreciated that the wrap length made me feel increased wrist stability when lifting weights. Aesthetically, the gloves are simple and entirely black which I think looks great and they have minimal branding which was a big plus for me. They have a noticeable leathery smell which I took as a sign that the gloves are a well made product from good material. I will note that the plastic zip bag that they came in was ripped, this didn't affect my review of the products as the gloves themselves were scratch free. In my experience, the sizing guide the company provides is accurate as these gloves have one of the best fits I've ever experienced. Overall I am quite happy with the gloves as they do provide wrist support and I haven't developed any calluses since using them. Therefore, I definitely recommend this product as it met my expectations and did so at a reasonable price.

They feel comfortable, although on hot days, they can make my hands very sweaty, and produce a temporary funny smell. They are true to size, as long as you measure yourself, as in the instructions. Excellent grip and it provides moderate support for the wrists and palms, when lifting. Update: After 2 workouts with weights...I've noticed that the dye from the Fleather is slowly dissolving into my hands and fingers. I mainly sweat a lot so that may be the reason why. The dye smells funny though, and it left my fingers looking as if was sticking my hands in charcoal, but it was easy to wash it off with soap and water. Another thing I noticed is that I wish the gloves were a bit longer. I hate that the end bunches up under the wristband and it sort of bothers after a while. Like I said they are good, but they have a few flaws. I think I will have to start searching for something that is not plastic, or leather, and something that would hold up even with the toughest workouts.

As a massage therapist my hands are my money maker. I have a lot of tension in my wrists and forearm and also the thumb. I was looking for gloves that were not of standard quality and that can protect my hands from fatigue and injury. These gloves are gold! The adjustable wrap that goes around the wrist is just the right comfort when lifting weights. It actually makes me work out longer and harder. It's essential to measure your hand before you buy them. I thought I was a medium and it turns out I'm a large. If I didn't do that I would've probably returned them. Other than that, they don't mark my skin. The inside of the gloves don't bleed or disintegrate which is what I'm used to. For the price it's definitely worth a try. Don't think that strapping the wrist as tight as possible will do the trick; it actually does a lot with it being a little loose and I'm sure they designed it that way so your wrists don't throb. When you grip something, it's not uncomfortable at all. I plan to order more products from this brand because of the quality, customer service and functionality. Thanks Nordic!!

Well-made and as others suggested, go with a size smaller if anything. The wrist straps work well. I switched to these after a pair of Valeo Ocelot gloves with wrist straps, and these ones are comparable if not better because of more cushioning. One problem I did notice today was that the edges at the fingers felt like they were cutting into you, but this was easily fixed by altering grip slightly. Still good gloves. EDIT 02MAR2015: Changing review from 4 stars to 3 stars because of the quality of the stitching. The stretchy material that is stitched to the leather has come apart and now hangs off freely, and so the individual finger holes are slowly becoming simply one big hole. I wish this had been stitched better so that the gloves weren't falling apart. Still may consider re-ordering because it was a good product before falling apart; however, I have used other gloves that lasted much longer, and so I will have to consider. EDIT 14MAR2015: Adding back the star which was removed on 02MAR2015. I am changing my review again because of the exceptional customer service provided by Henrik and Nordic Lifting. Immediately after noticing that my gloves had the stitching issues mentioned above, Henrik contacted me to discuss the issue and fix it. He even forwarded pictures that I took of the broken stitching to their Design Team so that they could address this issue in future iterations of these gloves. Furthermore, Henrik offered to replace the gloves, free of charge, because he and Nordic Lifting stand behind their product. The replacement arrived promptly at my doorstep without issues. Overally, I would highly recommend this product and this company to anybody considering them. You will be very happy with these gloves (they are better than some Valeos I have used in the past as well as much better than Harbingers), and if any issues do arise as is natural since not everything is perfect, Henrik and Nordic Lifting will do everything they reasonably can to address the issues and make you, the customer, happy.

Exactly the type of quality that I needed.

Great gloves, I brought them for extra support on returning to training after breaking both bones in my wrist & having surgery. Felt very comfortable & made my wrist feel stable & supported. The rest of the glove is flexible & both easy to handle and grip a variety of weights & kettle bells with ease. I initially purchased a medium based on size guide & had to re-order in a small & they unfortunately only had in pink which is fine however, a tad girlie for me (more a personal preference). All in all great product, quick delivery & would definitely recommend. Marie, London
