Cap Barbell Squat & Workout Bar Pad – Cushioned Neck & Shoulder Support for Standard & Olympic Bars

Had this barbell pad for over a year now and it’s still in perfect condition. Really happy with this purchase. It fits securely on the bar without moving around, which was important to me. I used it for both squats and hip thrusts and it worked great for both exercisesThe padding protects really well — no more bruising on my neck and shoulders, and it makes the whole movement so much more comfortable. That alone makes it worth it.Exactly as described in the listing. Durable, functional and holds up well with regular use.

It delivered very fast. the padding is very dense and sturdy. it does NOT budge on my bar! the velcro is very sticky, so thats great. i use it for hip thrust but could use a bit more padding. I use it for squats to works perfectly cant feel the bar at all. It fits my Olympic size barbell perfectly also

Best bar pad I've ever used!! The Velcro hides real well so that even if it does roll around, still no discomfort. Thicker than the ones I've used at my old gym. Stays nice and snug on bar for squats. I also like to use it on the bar for dead lifts so I can keep the bar close to my legs without worrying about bumping my knees in a painful way. Would definitely buy again!

Works really well. It has velcro to help keep it on, I like that it has the protective covering that's easy to wipe off if it gets dirty and protects the foam from ripping. I've used several of the foam ones at the gym and they always end up ripping apart. I can take this around with me in the car or stroller without worrying about it being torn up on the way. It's the same price as those cheap ones. Definitely get it!

This fit my olympic sized bar without issues. It's not super bulky but offers enough cushion to make back squats more comfortable. No issues with the velcro, it has held in place since I put it on the bar. I do adjust it so the seam isn't against my body before I get under the bar. It does slide easily along the bar, but this is mostly a good thing for easy adjustment.

As much as I was wanting this to be a great pad, i cannot in good conscience recommend this item to anyone.the good:1 - the pad fits my bars very well, no issues there. could be a little more snug on the 28mm bar, but fits well overall.2 - Firmness! the pad is very hard/firm, and doesn't collapse under heavy weight. this is great!3 - Easy to remove the pad. has a velcro strip, easy to pull on and off as needed.the bad:1 - The nylon cover on the pad is so slick that the pad slides right off your back. The pad cannot grip anything, and any weight over about 185 will be a problem in this regard. I nearly killed myself when the pad rotated and slipped pushing the bar from low to high position mid-squat.2 - the thickness of the pad effectively makes your low bar squat feel like a high bar one. Since the pad has zero compression, it pushed the bar significantly higher off my back. this basically destroyed my form.I'll still attempt to use the pad more with lower weights (under 185 or so) and see if some break-in time will help. but as it stands I would not recommend this pad to anyone. I feel that the slickness of the nylon wrap is dangerous and will lead to injury with heavy weights.

To be fair, the product is as advertised. It is quality constructed with what appear to be durable, long lasting material. My personal issue is how it changes your position during a heavy barbell squat that is very awkward. I removed it immediately after my first set and will not use again.

So far so good. It is comfortable for squat and it is easy to wipe/clean after workout.
